Testing principle:

An instrument that uses the principle of polarized light interference to check the internal stress of glass or the birefringence effect of crystals. Due to the presence of sensitive color plates and the use of a 1/4 waveplate compensation method in the polarization stress meter, this instrument can not only qualitatively or semi quantitatively measure the optical path difference of glass based on the interference color sequence in the polarization field, but also accurately measure the internal stress value of glass when combined with a wall thickness gauge.
