The multifunctional PB7220-2000-T/R terahertz frequency domain analysis spectroscopy platform is designed for precise scanning of complex compounds, with higher accuracy and control capabilities. When THz researchers and application developers need to study material properties at terahertz frequencies with high resolution, the PB7220 terahertz frequency domain analysis spectrometer is an ideal choice. The frequency resolution of a single fast scan from 100 GHz to 1.8 THz or higher is higher than 0.25 GHz. Due to its two channels, it can simultaneously measure the terahertz transmission and reflection characteristics of the sample. The second channel allows a single system to collect information from the sample at different reflection or scattering angles while continuously monitoring transmission.

The PB7220 terahertz frequency domain analysis spectrometer adopts a precisely tuned fiber coupled butterfly packaged semiconductor DFB laser, advanced optical hybrid light source and detector, as well as advanced digital control hardware and software, providing a complete THz one click start-up spectrometer. The efficient CW characteristics of the optical hybrid source enable all THz powers to be within the frequency range of interest, with excellent dynamic range within a scanning range of up to 70 dB Hz.

Fiber coupled light source and detector probe are installed on the platform for simultaneous transmission and reflection measurements. They can also be separated and used together with extended optical cables, providing greater measurement flexibility in a wider range of applications.
