EVENT Resistance Reducing Agent

EVENT drag reducer is the third-generation drag reducing material developed by our company's researchers after ten years of dedicated research. This drag reducer contains stable conductive components, chemical electrolytes, metal passivation rust inhibitors, water retention agents, and other ingredients. Applying it between the metal grounding body and the soil, on the one hand, it can tightly contact the metal grounding body and the soil, expand the cross-sectional area of the diffuser, and reduce the high contact resistance between the metal grounding body and the soil; On the other hand, during construction, it flows and infiltrates into the surrounding soil pores, reducing the soil resistivity and forming a low resistance area with a gentle change in resistivity around the grounding body, significantly reducing the grounding resistance of the entire grounding network. Due to the presence of metal passivation and anti-corrosion agents in EVENT, it can quickly passivate the surface of metal grounding bodies during construction, effectively preventing corrosion and extending the service life of metal grounding bodies; The water retaining agent in the resistance reducing agent can effectively prevent the grounding resistance from being affected by climate change during rainy and dry seasons, therefore KY type resistance reducing agent has good corrosion resistance and long-term stability.
According to the expert type test conducted by Wuhan High Voltage Research Institute of State Power Corporation, all performance indicators of EVENT resistance reducer meet the temporary technical requirements for grounding resistance reducer (see Appendix 1, 2, 3). The grounding resistance has the characteristic of being less affected by power frequency current and impulse current. Especially in terms of rust prevention for metal grounding bodies, it is at the leading level among all grounding resistance reducing agents in China. The surface corrosion rate (mm/year) of metal grounding bodies is the lowest in the country, and the resistance reduction effect is the best. All quality indicators are at the advanced level of similar products in China.
After years of experimentation by our company's scientific research personnel and practical experience in Guangdong Province's power, telecommunications, microwave and other departments, it has been proven that the resistance reducing agents produced by our company have good anti rust effects on metal grounding bodies, especially on ordinary carbon steel. In grounding engineering, whether in low resistivity clay or high resistivity rock areas, using ordinary carbon steel (flat steel, angle steel, steel pipe) and EVENT grounding resistance reducing agent to achieve the required grounding resistance value not only shortens construction time but also greatly saves the total cost of grounding engineering.

Usage method of drag reducer
1. First, according to the design requirements of the grounding project, excavate a horizontal grounding trench or vertical grounding hole;
2. Weld and support the metal grounding body firmly, with a clean and rust free surface;
3. Mix the drag reducing agent and water in a ratio of 1: (0.5-1) evenly in the container to form a slurry, otherwise it will affect the drag reducing effect and anti-corrosion effect;
4. Apply the evenly mixed drag reducer to the grounding ditch or hole, wrap the metal grounding body evenly, and seal and compact the soil after 6-12 hours. During the laying process, sediment and other debris must not come into contact with the metal grounding body or be mixed into the resistance reducing agent.
Precautions
1. The drag reducer is a light black solid powder (with a dry powder density of 1150-1200Kg/m3), packaged in a moisture-proof plastic woven bag with an inner lining. 25Kg per bag, 40 bags per ton;
2. Resistance reducing agents are non-toxic, pollution-free, and non corrosive, and can be adapted to transportation modes such as trains, automobiles, and ships;
3. Users should strictly follow the usage method for construction to ensure that the drag reducer achieves the best drag reduction effect.
