The Korean FINEST-F900 precision TDR (Solid State Time Domain Reflectance) cable tester uses the principle of solid-state time domain reflection technology (pulse wave echo) to measure cable length and find the distance from the test point to the breakpoint or short-circuit point. The F900 is economical and easy to use, and has many functions that are only available in expensive high-end instruments.
The Korean FINEST-F900 automatic matching output impedance (25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150 Ω) is suitable for comprehensive cabling applications such as power cables, coaxial cables, telephone lines, television lines, and network cables. Users only need to press buttons to select the matching cable type, adjust the VOP propagation rate value of the measured cable (VOP value directly affects the accuracy of the measurement result), and set the length display unit themselves. The F900 is equipped with a VOP database for 39 sets of standard cables, with 20 memory units. Users can customize the testing mode and store VOP values for 20 sets of cables.
The Korean Youyi FINEST-F900 has built-in overvoltage safety protection (with a maximum effective voltage of 250V, which can effectively prevent accidental damage to the instrument) and online voltage monitoring function. When the online voltage of the test cable exceeds 6.5V, the instrument LCD will display the overvoltage indicator "OUCH" and terminate the test.
The Korean Youyi FINEST-F900 has a threaded ABS shell (anti slip), dust and splash proof functions (up to IP42 standard), and uses 4 AA batteries (NEDA 15A or NR 6). The batteries are installed in the rear battery compartment for easy replacement. F900 is mainly suitable for cable production and wholesalers, retailers, electricians, on-site engineers, as well as comprehensive wiring installation personnel who need to measure cable length and detect cable open circuits and short circuits.

1. The instrument is suitable for coaxial cables, shielded cables, twisted pair cables, multi strand cables, power cables, comprehensive cabling cables, etc;
2. The instrument is not suitable for testing single core wires and cannot guarantee the correctness and stability of free combination cable testing, such as multiple single core cables already installed in cable trays;
3. Based on experience, it is not recommended to test high-voltage cables. The ideal testing range for power cables is within 240mm ²;
4. For non-standard or cable types other than the 39 sets of cable data embedded in the instrument (such as power cables, power cables, etc.), the VOP data of this type of cable needs to be known in advance for actual use. If the specific data is not clear, the VOP value needs to be sampled and tested in advance (with a sampling length of at least 10 meters, and the longer the actual sampling length, the higher the accuracy). Please be sure to understand this in advance to avoid inconvenience in actual use and on-site situations.
The F900 online voltage detection is 6.5V, which complies with EN 60950:1999 section 2.2.3 (communication network overvoltage protection standard). If the voltage is higher than this, the instrument will self protect, stop testing, and prompt an error message. When the overvoltage protection is 250V and the live line does not exceed 250V, the instrument is safe and will not be damaged. F900 is mainly designed for testing low voltage lines below 6.5V or non live cable types.
