Four channel fully automatic solid-phase extraction instrument (SPE-04 Plus)
PromoChrom Technologies in Canada focuses on the research and development of chemical analysis sample pretreatment technology, providing efficient and practical solutions for trace analysis.
The SPE-04+four channel solid-phase extraction instrument is a sample pretreatment instrument with fast processing speed and wide application range. It can handle both large volume water samples and small volume extracts of biological and solid samples (such as food and soil). The characteristics of this instrument are particularly suitable for laboratories with a wide variety of sample types, such as disease control centers and grassroots testing centers. The instrument adopts four channels for simultaneous processing, and the sample processing speed is four times that of ordinary solid-phase extraction instruments. The processing speed of each small volume sample can be controlled within 5 minutes.
Details
Easy to operate
The instrument control and operation are carried out through the built-in touch screen industrial computer. Method editing and instrument settings can be quickly completed by clicking a few buttons. The daily operation steps are: place the sample, solid-phase extraction column, and receiving tube, select the sample and method to be made, and then press the "Start" button. The instrument can automatically complete all the extraction and purification work. As a four channel instrument, SPE-04+divides 40 samples into 10 groups of four each. Each group of samples has its own transportation
Method of action. The processing time for forty samples is the same as the processing time for ten samples with a typical solid-phase extraction instrument. The method of SPE-04+includes the solvent to be sucked in by the pump (Inlet 1 and Inlet 2) and the location to be delivered (outlet). It also includes the mixing ratio of the two solvents, the flow rate of the pump, and the processing volume. The content of the method is concise and easy to understand, and it is also convenient to modify.

Online mixing and gradient rinsing
SPE-04+can mix two elution solvents in any ratio to achieve gradient elution. Using this feature can reduce the hassle of daily solution preparation. During the method development phase, it is also possible to quickly select the appropriate washing conditions. For some applications that require precise separation, gradient elution is also a very useful feature.
Samples that consider both size and volume
SPE-04+has two modes of sample size and volume. The small volume mode can be used for purifying concentrated extracts of biological and food samples. The large volume mode can be used for monitoring drinking water and surface water. The small volume mode is to take samples from a sample tube through an injection needle, with a sample volume of 0.5-6 milliliters. The loading method for the large volume mode is the same as that of the SPE-03 multi-channel solid-phase extraction instrument, with a loading volume of up to 4000 milliliters. If necessary, the sample volume can be further expanded.
Directly adding internal standards to samples and components
During the sample processing, SPE-04+can automatically add standard samples to the sample and components according to the program.
Prevent cross contamination of samples
In order to prevent cross contamination of samples, the instrument is equipped with an automatic cleaning function for the sample tube and injection needle. After the sample is loaded, various solvents can be used to thoroughly clean the inner and outer parts of the injection needle and the sample container. In addition, the injection needle of SPE-04+uses sample bottle liquid level tracking for sample loading, minimizing external contact between the needle and the sample.
