Main functions and features

It is mainly used to measure the rotor AC impedance of various synchronous generators, and can also be used for single-phase short-circuit and no-load characteristic tests of power transformers, as well as volt ampere characteristic tests of voltage transformers and current transformers.

Precautions for use

1. Before using the instrument, carefully read the product manual and master the correct usage method.

2. Connect the wires correctly during the experiment. Only after checking the correct wiring and reliable connection can power be turned on.

3. Among the two wires of the test clamp, the slightly thicker wire is the current wire (I1, I2), and the slightly thinner wire is the voltage wire (U1, U2). The instrument adopts a dedicated high current quick connector, which should be slightly rotated when inserting and removing.

4. Correct operation. During testing, the voltage regulator should uniformly and slowly increase the voltage near the testing point to ensure the reliability of data acquisition.

5. If there is a protective action during the experiment, the cause must be identified and any abnormalities must be eliminated before continuing the experiment. Blind operation is not allowed to avoid unnecessary consequences.
