  • 1. Product Overview
    HS-ULCExternal ultrasonic level controller (also known as level switch)It is a new type of liquid level measurement and alarm device independently developed by Dixon Instruments. Mainly used for monitoring the liquid level of storage tanks, achieving upper and lower limit alarms, or monitoring the presence of liquid in pipelines (dry state protection). The material of the storage tank can be various metals, non metals, or non foaming plastics, with a wall thickness of up to 50mm. This technology is not affected by factors such as medium density, dielectric constant, conductivity, reflection coefficient, pressure, temperature, precipitation, etc., so it is suitable for various liquid level engineering controls in industries such as medicine, petroleum, chemical, power, food, etc. For the detection of toxic, highly corrosive, and hazardous liquids, this product is an ideal choice.
    2. Working principle
    The high-frequency ultrasonic pulses generated by the sensor (probe) of the liquid level controller can pass through the container wall. This pulse will propagate through the container wall and liquid, and will also be reflected back by the inner surface of the container. By detecting and calculating this reflection characteristic, it can be determined whether the liquid level has reached the position where the controller is installed. The liquid level controller can output relay signals, which facilitates monitoring and control of the liquid level.
