Overview
The high-voltage test transformer is an indoor equipment, consisting of a main unit, a control system, a voltage regulator, a protection device, etc. It is used to conduct power frequency withstand voltage tests on electrical products, equipment, components, and insulation materials. The iron core is made of high-quality cold-rolled oriented silicon steel sheets, and the structure is arranged in a core and horizontal manner. The core column is concentric with low-voltage winding, measuring winding, shielding, and high-voltage winding. The high-voltage winding is a multi-layer pagoda shaped trapezoidal structure, and the low-voltage winding is a cylindrical structure, with the shielding and iron core grounded together. The bottom of the fuel tank is equipped with movable casters (without casters below 5kVA), which can be moved freely on the ground, making it convenient for laboratory and field operations.
Product Details

1High voltage test transformerTechnical Specifications:

Normal usage conditions:

(1) Altitude: The altitude of the transformer installation site shall not exceed 1000m. When the altitude exceeds 1000m, the external insulation of the transformer shall be classified into two levels: 2500m (greater than 1000m to 2500m) and 4000m (greater than 2500m to 4000m).

(2) Environmental temperature:

Zui high temperature+40 ℃, Zui high daily average temperature+30 ℃, Zui high annual average temperature+20 ℃, Zui low temperature -5 ℃ (indoor type), -25 ℃ (outdoor type).

(3) High relative humidity of the air:

When the air temperature is+25 ℃, the relative humidity does not exceed 90%.

(4) Installation location:

The installation site is free from gases, vapors, chemical deposits, dust, dirt, and other explosive media that seriously affect the insulation of the transformer, as well as places with severe vibrations.

(5) Waveform of power supply voltage:

The waveform of the power supply voltage is an actual sine wave with a frequency of 50Hz, and the power supply side should not be subjected to external atmospheric overvoltage.

(6) When in use, the input voltage should gradually increase and reliable protective measures should be taken.

IIHigh voltage test transformerNotes:

Please read this manual before using the device.

2. Check if the accessories are complete, including fasteners.

3. Check if the transformer is filled with oil. If it is not full, please fill it with qualified No. 25 oil before use. The cover and conduit must be kept clean during the experiment.

4. Use a 2500V/10000M Ω megohmmeter to check that the transformer is in good condition, and use a multimeter to check that the DC resistance of the winding is normal.

During use, corresponding control and protection devices, voltage regulators, voltage dividers, ball gap protectors, protective resistors, etc. should be equipped. The grounding must be ensured to be good.

6. The safe distance for installation must be kept away from surrounding objects: ≤ 150kV ≈ 2m, ≤ 150-250kV ≈ 3m. For products of 250kV and above, please refer to the relevant regulations of high-voltage testing technology. To ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.

7. Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram (attached in the diagram), and reliably ground the grounding terminal. After checking and confirming that it is correct, leave the high-voltage test area before conducting the test.

8. The high voltage terminal "X" of the transformer must be short circuited to the ground terminal and must not be open circuited. If high voltage current needs to be measured, the high voltage head "X" can be disconnected from the grounding "" end, and an AC milliampere meter can be connected in series and reliably grounded to obtain the measured high voltage current during the test.

9. Please control the boosting speed at around 1-3 kilovolts per second and increase the voltage uniformly until the desired voltage is reached. After the experiment is completed, reduce the voltage back to zero, cut off the power, and discharge.

Under no circumstances shall the voltage and capacity of the high-voltage light-duty test transformer be increased above the rated value. And full voltage power on or off is never allowed.

If the ambient temperature is too high, a small amount of transformer oil may overflow from the top of the bushing, which is a normal phenomenon. During the experiment, if there is obvious corona discharge inside the conduit, it is generally due to insufficient oil. At this time, qualified No. 25 transformer oil should be replenished from the top of the conduit with a syringe through the oil filling hole to ensure the safe operation of the equipment.
