Through repeated experiments, we have developed precise charging processes and algorithms.
The KZA-III series microcontroller intelligent charger adopts single-chip intelligent control, with a large screen LCD display in both Chinese and English, making the charging status and parameters clear at a glance. The precise charging algorithm designed based on the battery charging curve and its charging absorption conversion characteristics integrates various battery sufficiency discrimination methods, including voltage change rate (), current change rate (), maximum charging capacity (), and maximum charging time (), to ensure that the battery is fully charged without overcharging. Basic workflow of KZA3 intelligent charger:
♦ Conventional charging
turn Connect the input and output lines of the charger to the input power supply and battery correctly and reliably, paying attention to the correct input AC voltage and the positive and negative polarity of the output lines, with the red line connected to the positive pole and the black line connected to the negative pole. Close the AC input switch of the charger, and the Shanjie charger will perform a self check and enter the charging state with a soft start.
Monitor battery voltage. If the battery connection is reliable and correct, the buzzer will beep for a long time. After a delay of about 10 seconds, the buzzer will beep again and automatically enter the charging process; If the battery is reversed or the battery voltage is incorrect, the charger will not charge and display the corresponding status.
The "charging light" flashes and accompanied by a long beep of the buzzer, the KZA3 charger automatically charges the battery at its rated current; The charger automatically detects the battery capacity and voltage, adjusts the charging current and charging time to ensure good and sufficient performance.
When the battery is charged to over 90%, the charger enters a low current pulse charging state, eliminating battery sulfurization, reducing battery gas evolution, extending battery life, and ensuring sufficient battery capacity.
After the battery charging is completed, if there is no requirement for uniform charging, the charger will shut down and display "sufficient shutdown", the charging power will be displayed as full, and the buzzer will sound for one minute. According to the actual situation of the battery, the charging time is about 8-12 hours.
The battery can only be removed when the AC switch is turned off or when the charging end display is sufficient. Do not directly disassemble the battery during the charging process to avoid danger.
In the closed state of the communication switch, allowing the battery to be connected, the delayed soft start charger automatically enters the charging process.
♦ Balanced charging
If the "equalization charging" button is pressed during normal battery charging, the charger will wait for one hour after the battery is fully charged and automatically enter the "equalization charging state". During the waiting equalization charging time, the charger will display "stop waiting for equalization charging". This opportunity automatically performs balanced charging based on the number of charges and the connection time between the charger and the battery.
If the "equalizing charge" button is pressed after the battery is fully charged, the Shanjie charger will immediately enter the equalizing charge state;
After fully balancing and charging the battery, the equalization is completed, the machine stops, and displays "stop and equalization is completed". The charging level is displayed as full, and the buzzer sounds for one minute. At this time, pressing the "equalization" button on the KZA3 intelligent charger will be ineffective.

♦ Pulse desulfurization
Pulse charging is mainly used to eliminate battery sulfurization and electrolyte concentration polarization, and has a certain effect on repairing the capacity reduction of batteries due to sulfurization.
Within 20 seconds of connecting the battery, it will display "standby normal". Press and hold the "equalization" button for 5 seconds, make a sound, and enter the pulse state. The status will display "normal in pulse", and both the charging light and equalization light will flash. The pulse timer ends after 2 hours and displays' normal shutdown '. The above operation can be repeated again to enter pulse charging.
Pressing the "start/stop" button on the charger can stop pulse charging, display "stop normal", and turn off the charging light and equalization light.
♦ Initial charging
Within 20 seconds of connecting the battery, the charger displays "standby normal". Press and hold the "initial charging" button for 5 seconds to enter the initial charging state, and the screen displays "initial charging in progress";
The charger charges the battery at its rated current, and when certain conditions are met, it charges the battery at a low current until the charging is complete. The maximum total time is about 20 hours, and the charged amount is about 150% of the rated battery capacity.
After completing the initial charge, the charger displays "Initial Charge", stops charging, and the battery level displays as full.
Attention Initial charging is a long-term charging method. It is recommended to use the initial charging function only for the first few charges of new batteries, batteries with severe sulfurization, or batteries with deep discharge. The entire initial charging process requires regular monitoring of the battery charging status, measurement of voltage and specific gravity, and avoidance of overcharging.
