The LWS light impact aircraft is a testing instrument specified in military standards, mainly used to simulate the strong impact that ship machinery, equipment, and systems (hereinafter referred to as equipment) may encounter in combat due to underwater explosions, close range off target fire, etc., to assess and evaluate the ability of ship equipment to withstand strong impacts. The impact machine uses a hoist to drive the pendulum and vertical hammer to the set height and then freely fall to produce impact.
The LWS lightweight impact machine mainly consists of a mechanical platform and a control measuring instrument, which meet the requirements of impact testing in relevant testing standards such as GJB150 and MIL-S-901E.

2、 Component Introduction
The LWS lightweight impact machine uses a chain hoist to drive the drop hammer and pendulum up to the set impact height, and then activates the brake to ensure that the impact hammer stays safely at the set height. After releasing the brake, the impact hammer falls freely and impacts the anvil. The energy is directly or indirectly transmitted to the test sample through the anvil or transition frame. The sensor also feeds back the signal to the measurement system and transmits it to the analysis software, which is displayed on the computer monitor to complete an impact test.
The frame is welded from structural steel and serves as the main frame of the testing machine connected to the foundation, supporting the installation of various components and test specimens.
The lateral reaction wall plays a buffering and limiting role when the specimen undergoes horizontal lateral impact.
The spring group is used for shock absorption and vibration isolation.
Hammer is divided into drop hammer and pendulum hammer. The falling hammer is used for vertical impact testing, lifted by a vertical lifting mechanism and guided by two vertical guide rods. The pendulum is used for horizontal impact testing and is installed at the end of a 1524mm swing arm. It is lifted by a horizontal lifting mechanism and guided by a track.
The lifting mechanism is driven by a chain hoist to lift the hammer and controlled by a release mechanism.
The installation board is designed according to the requirements of the national military standard, and users can choose and match it according to different testing requirements.
3、 Control measuring instrument
The DRM-LWS series control measuring instrument produced by our company is selected as the control measuring instrument. The technology is mature and reliable, and the software interface developed based on the Windows operating system is simple and convenient to operate.
The DRM-LWS series impact control measuring instrument is mainly used to control the action process of lightweight impact machine platforms, measure impact test parameters such as acceleration, pulse duration, and velocity changes during the impact process, and can print all measurement data. It has the advantages of user-friendly interface, easy operation, and reliable system.

Foundation requirements: A dedicated foundation needs to be made, with lifting equipment weighing over 5 tons on site.
