Friction testing machineBy using sliding friction, parameters such as load, speed, time, friction partner material, surface roughness, hardness, etc. can be changed between drip lubrication and non lubrication.
At present, liquid transportation equipment composed of rubber/metal pairs is widely used in crude oil extraction and mining drilling, such as the combination of metal rotors and rubber stators in submersible screw pumps, and the combination of rubber bushings and metal screws in screw hybrid pumps. In the actual operation process, the rubber lining material is not only subjected to the loss of material caused by the kneading and shearing of solid particles in metal fittings and liquid media (such as crude oil, slurry, etc.), but also to the swelling and corrosion of the liquid medium itself, resulting in a significant decrease in the service function of the rubber material. When the rubber/metal pair is first put into use, in order to ensure the volumetric power of the transportation equipment, there is usually an interference fit between the rubber and metal pair, with an interference fit of 0.4-0.8mm. After running for a period of time, the participation of solid particles and the kneading and shearing of the metal rotor cause wear on the rubber, and the interference fit between the rubber and metal pair will decrease. The cooperation between rubber and metal gradually transitions from interference fit cooperation to gap cooperation as wear progresses, resulting in a decrease in the volumetric power of transportation equipment. When there is a gap between rubber and metal, the liquid medium will carry solid particles to cut the surface of the rubber, resulting in material wear. When the rubber wear reaches a certain level and the displacement of the liquid medium transportation equipment cannot meet the operational requirements, it means that the equipment is useless.
