If the varistor ages due to overload, the built-in circuit breaker will interrupt the connection to the power supply, and the color of the fault display window will change from green to red. Remote signaling device (OBO V20-C/FS) with voltage monitoring device for remote signaling. The lightning arrester can be safely hot plugged without power outage.
V20-CApplication of pressure-sensitive lightning arresterThe design purpose of OBO V20-C is to protect low-voltage load equipment below 1000V according to the VDE-0675 standard. It protects electrical equipment from transient overvoltage damage caused by lightning and switch operation. According to the type of power input, there are multiple models available for selection.

Installation specifications:
Basic requirements1. V20-C should be installed on the AC input side of the switch power cabinet in the computer room, and it should be connected in parallel to the output side of the main circuit breaker.
2. The length of the connecting wire between the lightning arrester and the power supply system should be less than 50cm. The length of the lightning arrester and the ground wire should also be less than 50cm

4. Due to the characteristics of V20-C/3+NPE/FS, it is recommended to connect a backup circuit breaker in series before the lightning arrester. The recommended capacity of the circuit breaker is 32A, Class A circuit breaker (such as Siemens 5sx2332-5)
5. The wiring installation of FS has three wiring ports, with terminals 1-2 being normally closed contacts and terminals 1-3 being normally closed contacts. Different terminals are connected according to the different user alarm devices.
Attention: It is not allowed to wire protected lines in parallel with unprotected lines or ground wires.
