The open type double suction pump has high efficiency and energy saving, wide application range, axial force balance, long service life, open type structure, convenient and fast maintenance. S. SH type single-stage double suction open type centrifugal pump is suitable for conveying various clean or neutral or weakly corrosive liquids with trace particles.

Characteristics of the open type double suction pump:

1: Compared with other pumps of the same type, it has the characteristics of long service life, high efficiency, reasonable structure, low operating cost, and easy installation and maintenance. It is an ideal pump for firefighting, air conditioning, chemical, water treatment, and other industries. The design pressure of the pump body is 1.6MPa and 2.0MPa. To meet the different requirements of users worldwide, the corresponding pump inlet and outlet flanges can be selected according to standards such as ANSI, PN, and IS. The inlet and outlet flanges of the pump body are located on the lower pump body, which allows the rotor to be removed without disassembling the system pipeline, making maintenance convenient. Some pump bodies adopt a dual channel design to reduce radial forces and extend the life of the seal and bearings. :

2: The hydraulic design of the impeller adopts the most advanced CFD technology, thus improving the hydraulic efficiency of the S and SH single-stage double suction open centrifugal pumps. Balance the action of the impeller to ensure smooth operation of the S pump. The shaft diameter is thicker and the bearing spacing is shorter, which reduces the deflection of the shaft and extends the life of the mechanical seal and bearings. The shaft sleeve can be made of various materials to prevent corrosion and wear, and can be replaced.

A replaceable wear ring is used between the pump body and impeller to prevent wear and tear of the pump body and impeller. It is easy to replace, has low maintenance costs, and ensures running clearance and high work efficiency. Both packing and mechanical seals can be used, and the sealing device can be replaced without disassembling the pump cover.

3: The unique bearing body design of the bearing allows it to be lubricated with grease or thin oil. The design life of the bearing is over 100000 hours, and double row thrust bearings and enclosed bearings can also be used. According to the actual needs of users, the materials for S and SH single-stage centrifugal double suction pumps are cast iron, ductile iron, 316 stainless steel, and 304 stainless steel.

Introduction to the structure and materials of the open type double suction pump:

The suction and discharge ports of the pump are both located below the axis of the water pump, with the horizontal direction perpendicular to the axis and the pump casing Middle opening, during maintenance, there is no need to disassemble the inlet and outlet pipelines and the motor (or other prime mover). When viewed from the coupling towards the pump, the water pump rotates in the opposite direction of the needle. If according to the user's special ordering needs, it can also be changed to clockwise needle rotation.

The main components of a central centrifugal pump include: pump body, pump cover, impeller, shaft, double suction sealing ring, shaft sleeve, bearings, etc. Except for the material of high-quality carbon steel for the shaft, most of them are made of cast iron.

The pump body and pump cover of the open type centrifugal pump form the working chamber of the impeller. There are pipe screw holes for installing vacuum and pressure gauges on the inlet and outlet flanges, and pipe screw holes for discharging water are made at the lower part of the inlet and outlet flanges.

The impeller undergoes static balance verification and is fixed with a shaft sleeve and two side shaft sleeve nuts. Its axial position can be adjusted through the shaft sleeve nuts. The axial force of the impeller is balanced by the symmetrical arrangement of its blades, and there may be some residual axial force that is borne by the coaxial end bearings.

The pump shaft is supported by two single row radial ball bearings, which are installed in the bearing bodies at both ends of the pump body and lubricated with butter. The double suction sealing ring is used to reduce water leakage from the pump pressure chamber back to the suction chamber.

The water pump is directly driven by an electric motor through a coupling.

The shaft seal is a soft packing seal. In order to cool and lubricate the sealing chamber and prevent air leakage into the pump, there is a water seal ring between the packing. When the water pump is working, a small amount of high-pressure water flows into the packing chamber through the water seal pipe to provide a water seal.
