Brief description: The drop ball impact testing machine (Volkswagen standard) is an impact testing machine developed based on the PV3905 standard for organic material steel ball drop testing. It is suitable for components produced from organic materials such as flat steel, film, and baffles, and has the characteristics of being subjected to steel ball drop impact.
PV3905Falling ball impact testing machine
Main scope of application of (public standard):
Falling ball impact testing machine(Popular Standard)It is an impact testing machine developed based on the PV3905 standard for the drop test of organic material steel balls. It is suitable for components produced from organic materials such as flat steel, film, and baffles, and has the characteristics of being impacted by the drop of steel balls.
III(Popular Standard)Main technical parameters
1Steel ball: diameter (50.0 ± 0.03) mm, weight (500 ± 5) g, made of stainless steel.
2Disassembly of steel balls: Disassemble the magnet mechanism with a pushing and disassembling device.
3Steel ball falling height: 200230300 to (700 ± 1) millimeters (graded every 50 millimeters from a falling height of 300 mm).
4Conduit: Made of stainless steel, with a smooth interior and an inner diameter of (53.0 ± 0.5) mm.
5Aluminum base plate: outer diameter of 98mm, inner diameter of (50.0 ± 0.5) m, depth of (10 ± 0.5) mm, with chamfered upper edge, r = 1mm。
6Height order: 0-50mm.
7Host size: Length X Width X Height=260mmX260mm X1000mm.
4(Popular Standard)Operation method:
1Firstly, cut five test samples with a length and width range of 100mm to 200mm, and place them in a freezer at minus 30 degrees Celsius for 22 hours before preparing for the experiment.
2Insert the receiving plug into the slot corresponding to the falling height, such as 200mm, 230mm, or other heights. Then, use a magnetic suction rod to hold the steel ball and slowly insert it into the stainless steel guide bucket until it reaches the plug. Press the button at the end of the magnetic suction rod to let the steel ball fall onto the plug. The preparation work before the experiment has been completed.
3Open the freezer, quickly take out a test sample, place it on the aluminum platform of the main unit, select the upward threaded handle of the platform, let the sample stick to the surface of the guide plate, quickly pull out the steel ball insertion plate, and let the steel ball fall and hit the test surface. This step requires completion within 10 seconds.
4Remove the steel ball from the guide plate above the tested surface, insert it back into the steel ball insertion plate, and then insert the steel ball again according to the above operation method. Prepare for the next experiment.
5Rotate the threaded column of the base, remove the tested sample, observe the impact situation, and make a record.
6The process of conducting the experiment again is as described above, until all the tested samples are completed.
