Function and application areas

According to the requirements of DIN VDE 0675, Part 6 (Draft 11.89) A1, A2, surge protector V 20-C is a Class C surge protector. It protects electrical equipment from various voltage surges. We can provide different models ranging from single module to 4-module.

The model V 20-C/3+NPE (Class C) is a special surge protector used in TN-C-S, TN-S, TT, and IT systems. This protector is designed according to the new requirements of DIN VDE 0100, Part 534/A1, and achieves simple and safe installation.

V 20-C contains a zinc oxide varistor with high nonlinearity (α>30). This device has the advantages of short response time, low protection level, high flux, and long lifespan, especially when lightning surge passes through the protector, the subsequent current will not occur.

If the surge protector is damaged due to overload, the built-in circuit breaker will promptly activate, interrupting the connection with the power supply, and the color of the fault indication display window will change from green to red.

install

The V 20-C can be easily installed on a 35 mm rail inside any distribution box or switch box. The modules of the multi module protector are already connected by built-in grounding jumpers in the factory, so the protector only needs to be grounded (PE) once. The clever design between NPE protection module C 25-B+C/NPE and the base prevents the module from being inserted in reverse. This ensures the correct installation of the protector module.
