The selection of the motor for a submersible mixer is a very complex task, and the rationality of the motor selection immediately affects the application of the machine equipment. The principle of motor selection is to allow the mixer to fully play its mixing role within the suitable capacity, which can generally be confirmed by the water flow rate. According to the different processing technology regulations of sewage treatment plants, the reasonable water flow rate of the mixer should be ensured between 0.15~0.3m/s. If the water flow rate is lower than 0.15m/s, it will not achieve the actual effect of push flow mixing. If the water flow rate exceeds 0.3m/s, it will affect the actual effect of the processing technology and cause waste. So before selecting the motor, first confirm the location where the submersible mixer is used, such as sewage treatment plants, sludge treatment tanks, and biochemical tanks; Next are the main parameters of the medium, such as suspended solids content, viscosity, temperature, and pH value; Also, the appearance and water level of the reservoir.
The output power of the supporting facilities required for the mixer is determined based on the capacity, density of the mixed material, and mixing depth, and one or more mixers are selected according to the detailed situation.

Submersible thrusters, also known as porous air diffusion devices, use porous materials such as ceramics, coarse ceramics, etc. mixed with appropriate adhesives, sintered at high temperatures to form diffusion plates, diffusion tubes, and diffusion covers. Currently, the most widely used is the membrane type microporous aeration device made by laser drilling rubber membranes. The main performance characteristics of submersible thrusters are the generation of tiny bubbles, large gas liquid contact surfaces, and high oxygen utilization efficiency; The disadvantage is that there is a large loss of air pressure and it is prone to blockage. The incoming air should be filtered in advance.
The membrane type submersible thruster adopts ABS engineering plastic as the chassis, support plate, and pressure clamp, and the air distribution membrane is made of special synthetic rubber, with a surface covered with fine small holes. During oxygen aeration, the micropores on the gas distribution membrane of the aerator can expand and open on their own under the action of gas, ensuring that gas passes through the micropores. When in a stationary state, the micropores on the gas distribution film are in a closed state. Some submersible thrusters are equipped with air valve devices on the chassis of the aerator, which prevent the mixed liquid from entering the air distribution branch pipe when the pipeline system stops supplying gas, thus avoiding the mixed liquid from entering the branch pipe and being blocked.
