Cleaning of 9210 silicon meter measuring slot
The main function of a measuring tank is to provide a place for water samples and reagents to react and measure. The measuring slot is mainly divided into two parts, the upper part is made of stainless steel material, mainly including optical mirrors and small magnetic rods, as well as fiber optic light sources. The following is mainly the temperature control part. During the normal operation of the silicon analyzer, due to water quality issues (we measure the effluent from the desalination station's cation bed), it can cause pollution to the measurement tank. The main issue is that it pollutes the optical mirror and affects the optical path. In addition, due to the magnetism of the small magnetic rod, it adsorbs magnetic pollutants (magnetic iron oxide) in water, so it is required that instrument maintenance personnel regularly clean the measuring tank to ensure normal measurement of the instrument.
The steps are as follows
1. Use a straight screwdriver to unscrew the screw cover on the front of the measuring slot, and remove the optical mirror and gasket along the edge, being careful not to scratch the mirror surface;
2. Clean the optical mirror and small magnetic rod with desalinated water. If there is oily substance on the mirror surface, it can be gently wiped with a clean soft cloth;
3. Enter the solenoid valve submenu under the instrument maintenance menu. Open the solenoid valve with water sample in valves 1-6 and valve 7 # to allow the water sample to flow into the measurement tank for cleaning purposes;
4. Place the cleaned optical mirror, gasket (pay attention to the direction of the gasket), and small magnetic rod back into the measuring slot to complete the cleaning work;
5. If it still doesn't dry after cleaning, you can open the measuring tank cover on top and clean it multiple times with desalinated water. If it still doesn't clean, you can use oxalic acid to clean it on the small magnetic rod
If it's black, just scrape off the black if it turns black;
6. Generally, when a pump does not operate, it is a problem with the pump itself, such as blockage. You can clean it with 10% ammonia water

If the pump is still abnormal after replacement, it is recommended that you turn on the pump in the pump detection menu and measure whether the power pulse voltage of the pump is normal. The possibility of software problems is very small. If the pump is blocked, you can use 10% ammonia water, use the maintenance/Pump others/R1 in the instrument, and turn on ON to use PUMP1 single suction ammonia water to clean the pump and pipeline. If the blockage is severe, you can use a special syringe to push the syringe out of the ammonia water to blow the pump inlet and outlet until the pump can have self-priming function, and then use desalinated water to clean it in the same way.
