1、 Introduction to Steel Slag Drying Machine: The complete system of Zhongbo Heavy Industry's steel slag drying machine consists of three parts: heating system, heat exchange system, and ventilation and dust removal system. The heating system adopts hot blast stove technology, which has sufficient heat, good heat transfer effect, and simple structure. The heat exchange system is a three-layer drying drum, with material lifting plates arranged in a spiral pattern inside the drum, repeatedly lifting and scattering materials, resulting in very high heat exchange efficiency.

Mainly used for drying materials such as slag from the building materials industry or metallurgical industry, and leaching slag from metal selection mining.

2、 Working principle of steel slag dryer: The material enters the inner layer of the rotary drum through the feeding device, achieving downstream drying. The material continuously picks up and scatters under the inner layer's plate, forming a spiral movement for heat exchange. The material moves to the other end of the inner layer and enters the middle layer for upstream drying. The material is repeatedly lifted in the middle layer, forming a two-step forward and backward movement. The material not only fully absorbs the heat emitted by the inner drum, but also absorbs the heat of the middle drum, while extending the drying time. The material reaches the optimal drying state here. The material reaches the other end of the middle layer and falls into the outer layer. The material travels in a rectangular multi loop manner in the outer drum. The material that achieves the drying effect quickly travels out of the drum under the action of hot air. The wet material that does not achieve the drying effect cannot move quickly due to its own weight. The material is fully dried in this rectangular plate to achieve the drying purpose.

3、 Performance characteristics of steel slag dryer:

1. Steel slag dryer has strong overload resistance, large processing capacity, low fuel consumption, and low drying cost;

2. Adopting a downstream drying method, the flue gas and wet materials enter the dryer from the same side, which can utilize high-temperature flue gas to achieve high evaporation intensity. The outlet temperature of the dryer is low, and the thermal efficiency is high;

3. The operating parameters can be changed according to different material qualities, so that the material can form a stable fully broken fabric curtain in the dryer cylinder, and the mass and heat exchange is more sufficient;

4. The new feeding and discharging device eliminates the phenomena of blockage, discontinuity, unevenness, and return of steel slag dryer feeding, and reduces the load of the dust removal system;

5. The new internal structure enhances the cleaning and heat conduction of dispersed materials, eliminates the sticking phenomenon on the inner wall of the cylinder, and has a stronger adaptability to material moisture and adhesion;

6. The product particle size and moisture can be controlled according to user requirements. When drying steel slag, the product moisture can reach less than 1%, and the particle size can be controlled below 8mm.
