Overview
OT6083CThis instrument is a highly integrated microcomputer with a 3.1/2 bit LCD (LED) dual digital display and a portable insulation surface resistance tester (high resistance meter). Range from 10103Ω-101012ΩSimultaneously equipped with digital temperature and humidity sensors. The internal test voltage automatically switches between DC10V and 100V. Directly displaying the resistance value in numbers, with high accuracy, fast display, good stability, and convenient reading. This instrument is suitable for inspecting anti-static products such as anti-static shoes, anti-static plastic rubber calibration products, anti-static raised floors in computer rooms, and measuring insulation resistance of electronic and electrical products. OT6083CThe digital insulation resistance tester (high resistance meter) is suitable for measuring the insulation resistance of insulation materials, electrical products, and various components. Instrument structure and working principle

It consists of a DC high-voltage test power supply, a high impedance DC amplifier, a heavy hammer, and a display.

According to Ohm's Law, the measured resistance Rx is equal to the applied voltage V divided by the current I passing through, that is, R=V/I. The working principle of ordinary high resistance meters (mainly pointer high resistance meters and some commonly used digital high resistance meters) is to measure the fixed voltage V and obtain the resistance value by measuring the current I flowing through the sampling resistor. From the above equation, it can be seen that since the current I is inversely proportional to the resistance, rather than directly proportional, the displayed value of the resistance is nonlinear. That is, when the resistance is infinite, the current is zero, and the zero position of the meter head is ∞, where the scale is very dense and the resolution is very low. The entire scale is non-linear. Moreover, due to the variation in voltage V when measuring different resistances, it is not difficult to improve the accuracy of ordinary high resistance meters. And OT6083CThe digital insulation surface resistance tester is used to simultaneously measure the voltage V across the resistor and the current I flowing through the resistor. After A/D conversion, the voltage is divided by the current through internal microcomputer digital processing to obtain the result R. Then, the obtained result is displayed as the resistance value in digital form. Even if the voltage V across the resistor and the current I flowing through the resistor change simultaneously, the displayed resistance value does not change due to changes in the measured voltage V or current I, unlike ordinary high resistance meters, so its measurement accuracy is very high. In theory, its error can be reduced to zero. And the actual error can reach a few thousandths or tens of thousands.
Temperature and humidity are measured using imported original digital temperature and humidity sensors, which are directly displayed to the microcomputer with high accuracy, large measurement range, and intuitive readings.
The test voltage does not require manual switching. The microcomputer automatically switches the range and test voltage based on the size of the measured resistor. When the test terminal is short circuited to a high voltage of 100V, it will not damage the instrument,.
Safety precautions

2. Please do not use accessories not provided by the original factory to avoid danger.
3. This instrument can measure the insulation resistance of the tested object when one end is grounded. During testing, the tested object should be placed on a high insulation pad to prevent leakage and affect the test results.
4. When testing electrical products, try to connect the large or exposed electrode parts to the high-voltage output terminal of the instrument as much as possible to avoid external interference.
5. For cable products, if there is an outer metal sheath, this part can be used as an electrode and connected to the high-voltage output end of the instrument, while the core wire can be connected to the input end. For cables without outer sheath protection, they can be connected freely, but the tested object must be placed inside a metal shielding cover and the cover must be grounded.
6. When the measured insulation resistance is higher than 10×1010When Ω, the tested object should be placed in a shielded box, and the box shell should be grounded to prevent interference.
When measuring volume resistance and surface resistance, the volume resistance should be measured first and then the surface resistance. Otherwise, the polarization of the material will affect the volume resistance. When the material is prone to polarization after multiple consecutive measurements, it will make the measurement work impossible to continue. At this time, testing on this material must be stopped.
8. Avoid using in the following environments:
1. Avoid placing in direct sunlight, rain, or damp places.
2. Please stay away from sources of fire and high temperatures to prevent excessive machine temperature.
3. When handling or repairing, the machine should be turned off first and the testing line should be removed.
Usage and Operation
OT6083CIt has a battery voltage undervoltage indication function. When the battery voltage is below 6 volts, the LOWBATTERY indicator light will turn on. A multifunctional tester with digital display, capable of measuring environmental temperature, humidity, and surface resistance.
Test environment temperature and humidity: Press the TEST button“℃”The corresponding red light flashes, and the current reading on the meter indicates the temperature being measured. Press and hold the TEST button for a few seconds, and then the instrument will automatically switch to humidity measurement, and the original reading will be displayed“℃”The corresponding red light flashes and stops, and when converted to "RH", the corresponding red light flashes. At this time, the reading displayed on the meter is the current measured environmental humidity. After about 15 seconds, the LCD screen displays the measured surface resistance value, and the LED also displays the measured resistance value.
