working principle

The three eccentric butterfly valve and the three eccentric sealed butterfly valve have two eccentricities on the valve stem and valve plate, and the sealing surfaces of the valve plate and valve seat are in the shape of an inclined truncated cone (this is the third eccentricity of the so-called three eccentricities). When the valve is closed, the valve plate is pushed forward due to eccentricity, and there is no friction between the valve plate and the valve seat during the closing process. The valve plate is directly pressed against the valve seat, ensuring the service life of the valve; In addition, the sealing ring of this valve (whether installed on the valve seat or valve plate) has a certain degree of elasticity, and there is a small gap between the protrusion inside the elastic ring and the elastic ring, which can cause slight displacement of the elastic ring; When the valve is closed, the elastic sealing ring can automatically move to the position with the most uniform force under the action of the closing force; In addition, with a small amount of deformation of the elastic ring, the sealing ring at the valve seat is uniformly stressed, achieving the best sealing state. Widely used in industrial pipelines such as metallurgy, power, petrochemicals, water supply and drainage, and municipal construction where the medium temperature is ≤ 425 ℃, for regulating flow and carrying fluids.

To withstand high temperatures, it is necessary to use a hard seal, but with a large amount of leakage; To achieve zero leakage, soft seals must be used, but they are not resistant to high temperatures. To overcome the contradiction of the double eccentric butterfly valve, a third eccentricity was applied to the butterfly valve. And the so-called third eccentricity refers to the shape of the sealing pair not being a regular cone, but an oblique cone.
