This instrument measures fat content based on the Soxhlet extraction principle and the weight measurement method. Dissolve fat in organic solvents, use extraction method to separate fat from the solvent, then dry, weigh, and calculate the fat content. This instrument mainly consists of three parts: heating extraction, solvent recovery, and cooling. During operation, the heating temperature can be adjusted according to the boiling point of the reagent and the ambient temperature. The sample is repeatedly soaked and extracted during the extraction process to achieve rapid measurement.

9. Precautions (common faults):
   1. Be sure to use two sets of water sources for inlet and outlet cooling to prevent ether evaporation.
   2. Adjust the set temperature for extraction heating appropriately according to the room temperature.
   3. The heating method uses a water bath type, and distilled water must be injected before heating to prevent the electric heating tube from burning out. Please pay attention to the water level during extraction. When the water level is low, add distilled water in a timely manner to prevent the electric heating tube from burning out. Be sure to prevent indoor icing from damaging glass pipes in winter.
   4. Under the condition of complying with the transportation, storage, installation, and use regulations of this instrument, if the instrument cannot work normally due to manufacturing problems, or if it is found to be damaged due to poor packaging, accessories not matching the packing list, missing parts, etc. during unpacking within one year from the date of receipt, please contact the company's quality supervision department and write to indicate the product model, number, year and month of manufacture.
