Product Introduction

The national cable industry is vigorously developing low smoke and halogen-free cables and materials, which require measuring the smoke density of the cables; The main principle of smoke density measurement is that in a specific space, cables or materials produce smoke under specific combustion or radiation conditions, and the light beam will attenuate after passing through the smoke. The transmittance of the light beam is measured and the specific optical density and smoke density are calculated.

The wire and cable smoke density tester complies with GB/T 17651.1-2-1998 and IEC 61034-1-2:1997 "Determination of Smoke Density of Cables and Optical Cables Burning under Specific Conditions". It is a testing device used to measure the transmittance of smoke released by all insulated metal conductor cables or optical cables used for transmitting electrical energy or signals when horizontally burned under specific conditions. (IEC 61034 requires a smoke box size of 27m3).

Structural characteristics

1. The combustion chamber is composed of a cubic shell with a length, width, and height of 3000mm ± 30mm, and the room is made of A-grade refractory material such as rock wool color steel plate;

2. All internal fixtures are made of stainless steel; Beautiful and corrosion-resistant;

3. The total area of the ventilation hole is 50cm2 ± 10cm2, and it remains open throughout the experiment; The height of the baffle is 1000mm;

4. Equip wire and cable testing racks and hanging weights according to standard requirements.

Smoke Density Testing System

3. The range of optical density measurement for smoke density testing is 0% to 100%;

4. Install various filters to demonstrate that the light flux is suitable for changing and testing the smoke density of the emitted light to the light source position;

5. The support system is used to install smoke density specific light sources and imported high-resolution photoelectric tube receivers on the exterior walls;

6. The laboratory is equipped with door and window sealing structures;

7. The standard power of the light source is 100W, the standard voltage is DC 12V, the standard speed of light is 2000lm~3000lm, and the standard color temperature is 2800K~3200K;

8. Optical path calibration system: 0-100% point calibration;
