There are many commonly used level gauges for nitric acid storage tanks, such as
Magnetic flap level gaugeGlass tube level gauges and quartz tube level gauges each have their own advantages, but due to their special characteristics, the most commonly used level gauge for nitric acid storage tanks is the magnetic flap level gauge, which does not have power and displays on site. So, how to choose a magnetic flap level gauge? What skills are there? Next, let me tell you!
1、 Quantity storage tank
The height of the jar needs to be measured. If it is five meters high, it must not be made according to five meters. The optimal size is 4.8 meters. If a drain valve is to be installed, it should be made 4.6 meters, as the position of the drain valve needs to be reserved for easy installation.
2、 Confirm the medium
When selecting, the medium should not be considered. If the medium in the storage tank is nitric acid, the magnetic flap level gauge should be made with an anti-corrosion lining. If it is made of ordinary material, the entire material will corrode, so quality is the premise and the medium is the key.
Selection Techniques for Nitric Acid Storage Tanks
The difficulty of selection is that many people do not know how to choose, there are parameters but no medium, or there is pressure but no installation method. Taking nitric acid as an example, we will teach you some selection skills.
Medium: Nitric acid Pressure: 1.6MPA
Range: 4.6 meters Inner lining: PTFE
Flange: DN25 Material: 304 stainless steel
Installation: Side mounted accessories: Drain valve
