The selection of measurement location is a prerequisite for ensuring accurate measurement

Due to the fact that the flow rate directly measured by the flowmeter is a linear flow rate, only when the flow rate distribution is uniform and there is no external noise interference, can the measurement accuracy of the instrument be guaranteed. Therefore, a location that meets the following conditions should be selected for positioning:

(1) Upstream 10D, downstream 5D and above straight pipe sections (horizontal, vertical, and inclined pipes are all acceptable).

(2) Pumps, valves, and other equipment that disrupt flow should not be installed within 30 days upstream.

2. Correct installation of flowmeter

The installation of a flowmeter is the installation of the probe, which should be carefully installed according to the parameters provided by the meter head. There are two methods: "distance method" and "time method".

(1) The "distance method" can be divided into two types: one is suitable for pipeline conditions, and the "V" method can be used to improve measurement accuracy.

If used in a fixed manner, another method, the "Z" method, can be used for measurement to improve the reception intensity of the acoustic signal
