Convenient management

The brand new visual LCD display screen can clearly show the status and parameter information of UPS (available in seven languages). The enhanced feature configuration can also be operated through convenient navigation keys.

Industry first, 5PX UPS can optimize the management of output socket groups by measuring energy consumption. KWh data can be monitored through LCD screens or Eaton's intelligent monitoring software IPP/IPM.

Load segment control can prioritize shutting down non primary devices to ensure that battery power can provide the longest possible power supply to primary devices. Load segment settings can also be used to remotely restart locked network devices, or manage scheduled shutdowns and sequential startups.

The 5PX UPS provides a serial port and USB connection, as well as an additional slot for connecting optional communication card accessories (including SNMP/cards or relay cards). Eaton IPP/IPM software is compatible with all major operating systems, including virtualization systems such as VMware and Hyper-V.

In battery mode, the 5PX UPS can provide high-quality signal output for any sensitive devices connected, such as active power factor calibration servers.

The battery can be hot swappable without the need to turn off connected devices. If a hot swappable maintenance bypass module is selected, the entire UPS can even be replaced without shutting down the connected devices.

Up to four external hot swappable battery modules can be added simultaneously, extending the usage time and providing power to the system for several hours. UPS can automatically identify added battery packs.
