Battery needle punching, squeezing and impact testing machineSuitable for simulating the compression of various types of batteries during use, transportation, storage, and disposal of household waste, and assessing the safety performance of batteries. The battery is qualified if it is not disassembled, broken, or ignited.

Test method:

The test battery is compressed in two planes and subjected to hydraulic pressureThe squeezing force is 13kN, and the squeezing force continues to rise. Once the test meets any of the following conditions in the shortest possible time, the squeezing is complete, and the equipment automatically unloads and resets to complete one squeezing test

1. The squeezing force reaches 13kN;

2. Or the voltage of the battery drops by at least 1/3 (or 100mV);

3. Or the deformation of the battery reaches 1/10 (or more than 50%) of the original battery size.

For cylindrical batteries, compression should be applied in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis;

For prismatic or pouch shaped batteries, pressure should be applied to one of the two axes perpendicular to its long axis, and then the other axis should be squeezed;For button or coin batteries, squeeze their flat surface. Each test battery was squeezed only once.
