1 System Introduction
The CHY-8B explosion-proof electrostatic grounding monitoring system can provide alarm and linkage control for poor electrostatic discharge or poor grounding wire connection during the loading and unloading of flammable and explosive chemical materials, ensuring the safety of production and operation.

3 Product Features
The explosion-proof type is explosion-proof and inherently safe, with a built-in sound and light alarm that responds quickly. When there is poor static discharge or poor connection of the grounding wire, an immediate sound and light alarm response is triggered. Real time tracking and monitoring are carried out to ensure the continuity of static grounding. The intrinsically safe static grounding monitoring circuit is linked to control the opening and closing contact output for third-party use, and the alarm performance is controlled by industrial grade CPU processing. The explosion-proof shell is made of stainless steel (304 or 316L) or carbon steel (anti-corrosion, anti rust treatment), and the protective box is made of ABS engineering plastic injection molding. 6. Opening and Debugging

After completing the wiring according to the wiring diagram, perform bus calibration. Firstly, the insulation resistance between the power cord and each terminal should be measured to be greater than 200K Ω. Only after the calibration line is qualified can power be applied.

The grounding clamp is removed from the status board. The red LED indicator light flashes, the green LED indicator light goes out, and the buzzer sounds a busy alarm; When the grounding clamp is well connected to the monitored object, the green LED indicator light stays on, the red LED indicator light goes off, and the buzzer does not sound an alarm; On the status board where the clamp is placed, the red LED indicator light stays on, the green LED indicator light goes off, and the buzzer does not sound an alarm.
7 Usage Methods
Description of status indicator lights
Prohibited state - the red LED indicator light flashes, the green LED indicator light goes out, and the buzzer sounds a busy alarm
Allow Status - The red LED indicator light is off, the green LED indicator light is on, and the buzzer does not sound an alarm
Standby mode - the red LED indicator light is constantly on, the green LED indicator light is off, and the buzzer does not sound an alarm
Linkage switch description
Prohibited state - Static linkage output switch disconnected
Permitted state - Static linkage output switch closed
Standby state - Static linkage output switch disconnected
Job Process Description
When the grounding clamp is hung on the status board of the panel, the monitor is in standby mode, the red LED indicator light is on, the green LED indicator light is off, and the buzzer does not sound an alarm.
Remove the grounding clamp from the status board, the red LED indicator on the monitoring panel will flash, and the buzzer will sound a busy alarm;
Clamp the grounding clamp onto the monitored device. If the green LED light on the monitor panel remains on (the red LED light is off) and the buzzer does not sound an alarm, it indicates that the monitor is in a normal monitoring state and operation is allowed. If the red LED indicator on the monitor panel flashes and the buzzer sounds a busy alarm, it indicates poor contact between the grounding clamp and the monitored device. The clamp should be reconnected until it is in a normal state.
After completing the assignment, remove the grounding clamp from the monitored device and hang it back onto the status board on the panel.
System Maintenance
In a long alarm state - poor contact of the grounding clamp pin or open circuit of the clamp monitoring circuit cable;
No response from the system - power failure, check the power circuit;
There is power supply, but there is no response during operation (not the above problem) - power outage for 30 seconds and then restart the power supply;
If it is not the above-mentioned issue, the manufacturer should be contacted for repair or replacement of the motherboard.
8 Precautions
This product must choose a grounding electrode that is not greater than 10 Ω;
The monitored device should be equipped with high-quality copper grounding terminals;
The installation and use of the equipment should be carried out in accordance with this manual;
If the device may come into contact with harmful substances, the user is responsible for taking appropriate measures to prevent the device from being damaged and ensuring that this protection method is harmless;
Special conditions for safe use - indicator lights will not be able to withstand significant mechanical damage risks;
When in use, maintenance personnel should regularly inspect and maintain the system to ensure its effectiveness;
The maintenance of equipment must be carried out by trained personnel;
When repairing the equipment, pay attention to protecting the explosion-proof surface after opening the shell cover;
The repair and replacement of damaged components should be consistent with the prototype number.
In order to ensure a reliable connection between the monitoring device and the grounding electrode, the grounding lead of the monitoring device is connected to the grounding electrode according to the system connection diagram (connect two bolts to the two positions of the grounding electrode)
Safe use conditions - Devices that require electrostatic discharge should use multi-point grounding to release static electricity during loading and unloading.
