The instrument has mathematical and statistical functions, which can directly display the number of measurements, the maximum and minimum values of the average. This instrument uses the principle of electromagnetic induction for measurement and complies with ISO2178 and GB/T4956. When the probe comes into contact with the cover layer, the probe and the magnetic substrate form a closed magnetic circuit. Due to the presence of the non-magnetic cover layer, the magnetic resistance of the magnetic circuit increases, and the magnitude of the magnetic resistance is proportional to the thickness of the cover layer. By measuring the magnetic resistance, analyzing and processing it through a computer, the measured value is directly displayed on a liquid crystal display.
