1. Before use, the appropriate electrode constant should be selected based on the conductivity value of the tested water sample. Using beyond the measurement range of this electrode can result in significant errors or even render it ineffective.
2. Before use, the constant of the conductive electrode should be entered correctly into the secondary table.
3. After using the electrode for a period of time, it should be cleaned. The method is to soak the electrode in a 3% HCl (dilute hydrochloric acid) solution for two minutes, and then rinse with purified water.
4. If the electrode is installed in a submerged manner, be careful not to let water enter the top of the electrode and the wire. The general method used is to thread the electrode lead out of the protective sleeve, and then connect the thread on the top of the electrode to the thread on the protective sleeve with a tape.
