Communication seamless zinc oxide lightning arrester detectorIt is a specialized instrument used to test the electrical performance of zinc oxide lightning arresters. This instrument is suitable for live or power-off detection of zinc oxide lightning arresters of various voltage levels, so as to timely detect dangerous defects such as insulation moisture and valve plate aging inside the equipment.
Zinc oxide lightning arrester is a lightning arrester with good protective performance. By utilizing the excellent nonlinear volt ampere characteristics of zinc oxide, the current flowing through the lightning arrester at normal operating voltage is minimized (microampere or milliampere level); When overvoltage is applied, the resistance drops sharply, releasing the energy of the voltage and achieving the protective effect. The difference between this type of lightning arrester and traditional lightning arresters is that it does not have a discharge gap and utilizes the nonlinear characteristics of zinc oxide to perform leakage and disconnection.

Precautions
When taking the reference voltage from the PT secondary, the wiring should be carefully checked to avoid PT secondary short circuit.
2. The voltage signal input line and current signal input line must not be connected in reverse. If the current signal input line is connected to PT3, the secondary side, or the measuring end of the test transformer, it may burn out the instrument.
3. Do not plug or unplug the measuring wire in the presence of input voltage and current to avoid burning out the instrument.
After the instrument is damaged, please stop using it immediately and notify our company. Do not open the box for repair by yourself. When the instrument is not working properly, please first check if the power fuse is blown. The experiment can only continue after replacing the insurance with the same model. If the problem is complex, please contact our company directly.
5. This instrument should not be placed in damp or excessively hot environments.
If the instrument is not used for a long time (more than three months), the battery will be depleted and damaged. Therefore, the instrument should be charged every three months (more than 6 hours) to ensure its normal use. The charging steps are: turn on the power switch, plug in the 220V power supply, and wait until the battery reading below the LCD screen is above 90%.
