Cyclone preventer

Cyclone preventer is a pipe fitting used to prevent water tanks (pools) from generating vortices during liquid transportation and to prevent air from entering pipelines. Its function is to be installed on the suction pipe port of the water pump in the water tank (pool), used for the swirling flow inside the water tank (pool), so that the water pump can always start at full force and work normally, avoiding air from entering the water pump and causing cavitation. It can lower the liquid level of the liquid transported in the water tank (pool) to a lower level, achieving high flow transportation.

Suitable for fields such as chemical engineering, energy, and water engineering, especially for use in fire water intake tanks (boxes), it can fully utilize the capacity, improve the utilization rate of the water tank, reduce stagnant water areas, and achieve land saving requirements. During rescue operations, firefighting water can be used to the maximum extent possible.

Technical parameters of swirl preventer

1. Caliber: DN32-DN500 (existing product specifications can be expanded).

2. Installation method: It can be installed upright (suction water tank) or inverted (high-level water tank).

3. Installation requirements: There should be at least 0.3d gap between the outer edge of the swirl preventer and the wall of the water tank, where d is the nominal size of the suction channel.

4. Performance requirements: During the water intake process, when the water level drops to the low water level X, there should be no vortex generated at the liquid level of the pool.

5. Material requirements: 304 stainless steel, HT200 cast iron, Q235 carbon steel material.

6. Scope of application: Used in fields such as chemical engineering, energy, fire protection, water engineering, etc.
