The ventilation cap system includes types such as extended top ventilation pipe, main ventilation pipe, auxiliary ventilation pipe, combined ventilation pipe, circular ventilation pipe, appliance ventilation pipe, converging ventilation pipe, and ventilation pipe, which are used in different positions. The ventilation cap is suitable for installation in water storage tanks and reservoirs. A ventilation cap is a pipe set up to allow air circulation, pressure stability, and seal failure in the drainage system, which is connected to the atmosphere.
Ventilation cap performance:
The performance of the ventilation cap can be divided into four points:
1. Discharge the gas inside the drainage pipeline to meet hygiene requirements;
2. The ventilation pipe replenishes fresh air into the reservoir, water tank, and drainage pipeline to reduce corrosion of metal pipes and extend their service life;
3. Reservoirs and water tanks should be equipped with at least two ventilation pipes to improve the drainage system's capacity. (For example, when dripping, the liquid should flow out with the bottle mouth facing downwards. Insert a ventilation pipe with one end open to the atmosphere and the other end open to the gap between the liquid level and the bottom of the bottle to prevent negative pressure from forming in the pipeline and ensure smooth drainage.) Prevent the formation of stagnant water, odor, reduce air pressure fluctuations, protect the water seal, and prevent water seal damage.
4. It can effectively discharge the water vapor and gas in the reservoir and water tank, and the built-in gauze mesh can prevent vectors, insects, and dust from entering and damaging the water quality.
Instructions for use of ventilation cap:
1. The design gas flow rate of the ventilation pipe is 5m/s, and the average gas flow rate of the filter (mesh, cloth) layer is 0.75m/s. The filter cloth should be sewn with the same material during installation, and the inner cover can be made of non-metallic materials;
2. The ventilation pipe is designed with three thicknesses of soil cover (H3): 0.0m, 0.5m, and 1.0m. 0.0m is suitable for southern regions, 0.5m is suitable for central regions, and 1.0 is suitable for cold regions.
3. The rust removal and anti-corrosion requirements after welding shall be made according to the customer's design requirements.
4. Ventilation caps in areas with conditions can be made of fiberglass or stainless steel materials according to design requirements to achieve corrosion resistance and extend their service life.
