Non metallic expansion joint skin, also known as non-metallic fabric skin, desulfurization ring, non-metallic fabric ring, non-metallic compensator ring, etc., is mainly made of multi-layer soft materials and has many advantages such as wide temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, strong ability, good flame retardant performance, sound absorption and shock absorption, and good flexibility. Compared with traditional metal corrugated pipes, it avoids the transmission of rigid forces caused by connections, the vibration of pipelines, and solves the problem of compensating for the thermal expansion and contraction of ventilation fans, as well as the unavoidable displacement of metal parts. And it can provide protection for the fan in case of accidents. And it is far superior to metal corrugated pipes in many aspects such as transportation, installation, cost, and maintenance.

Application characteristics of skin silicone tape with steel wire: used for low temperature between -70 ℃ and high temperature between 230 ℃; Resistant to ozone, oxygen, light, and climate aging, with excellent weather resistance for outdoor use and a lifespan of up to 10 years; High insulation performance, dielectric constant of 3-3.2, breakdown voltage of 20-50KV/MM; Good flexibility, high surface friction, good elasticity, and good chemical corrosion resistance.

The non-metallic compensator ring (skin) is the fabric part of the non-metallic compensator, which can be divided into silicone skin and fluororubber skin according to the material. Silicone skin is generally used in air duct fiber fabric compensators with low temperature resistance, and after adding insulation layer, it is used at ≤ 600 ℃. The temperature resistance of fabric compensators with fluorine rubber skin used in end environments is ≤ 1200 ℃.

Silicone skin and steel wire reinforced heat-resistant silicone rubber cloth skin are made of glass fiber cloth as the base fabric, produced by coating or rolling. They are made of corrosion-resistant and high-strength glass fiber cloth, which is rolled or impregnated with silicone rubber. It is a high-performance and multi-purpose composite material new product. From the perspective of coating surface, there are two types of silicone tape: single-sided silicone tape and double-sided silicone tape. In terms of application characteristics, single-sided and double-sided silicone tape are basically similar. Single sided silicone tape is mainly used in some environments where double-sided silicone is not required to save related costs, such as making shoe materials and only requiring single-sided chemical corrosion resistance during packaging. There are two types of silicone tape: room temperature cured silicone tape and high temperature cured silicone tape: different temperature resistance ranges, different curing strengths, different performance after combustion (high temperature cured smokeless, odorless, extinguished, ash turns white), and different service lives.
