ES612A ESD electrostatic discharge testerIt is a 2-pin tester designed by ESDMEC specifically for evaluating wafer level and package level devices. This system supports industry standard ESD testing models, including HBM, HMM, and MM. With its built-in DC characteristic analysis function, it can simplify the process of determining ESD failure thresholds. To enhance system flexibility, the ES612A can be optionally equipped with a multi pin relay module or a relay based HBM/MM/LU ATE expansion module, supporting up to 512 pins, making it an ideal solution for comprehensive device certification and reliability testing.

The pulse source design and pulse transmission method of the system ensure that the waveform can be accurately transmitted to the tested device itself. The current waveform in each ESD event can be automatically collected and analyzed. At the same time, the system can also collect voltage waveforms to determine the starting level of the protection circuit. These voltage waveforms can also serve as another important means of failure determination, as the DC characteristic parameters of the device will change after an ESD event.
