An electromagnetic flowmeter consists of two parts: a sensor and a converter. The sensor consists of a measuring tube, electrodes, excitation coil, iron core, and housing. After amplifying, processing, and computing the flow signal, the converter can display instantaneous flow, cumulative flow, output pulses, analog currents, and other signals for measuring and controlling fluid flow. The electromagnetic flowmeter adopts an intelligent converter, which not only has functions such as measurement and display, but also supports remote data transmission, wireless remote control, alarm and other functions.

Electromagnetic flowmeter is suitable for conductive media with a conductivity greater than 5uS/cm, with a wide nominal diameter range and adaptability to various practical environmental conditions. It has multiple power supply methods and signal outputs, and adopts standard RS-485 serial communication interface, payment international standard MODBUS-RTU communication protocol, GPRS and other wireless and wired communication networking methods. It has accumulated pulse equivalent output. Provide a wireless meter reading system with remote network access (computer management software and database).

Measuring principle
The working principle of electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. The two electromagnetic coils at the upper and lower ends in the figure generate a constant or alternating magnetic field. When a conductive medium flows through the electromagnetic flowmeter, an induced electromotive force can be detected between the left and right electrodes on the flowmeter tube wall. The magnitude of this induced electromotive force is proportional to the flow velocity of the conductive medium, the magnetic induction intensity of the magnetic field, and the conductor width (the inner diameter of the flowmeter measuring tube). The medium flow rate can be obtained through calculation.
