Yunxuetang is based on a hyper converged architecture and can provide a variety of deployment modes, such as independent deployment and centralized deployment. Independent deployment refers to the separate deployment of UIS-CLASS G3 cloud school all-in-one machine (hereinafter referred to as UIS-CLASS G3 or cloud host) in each classroom, placing the equipment in the classroom. It is mainly aimed at scenarios where the campus network construction is relatively lagging behind and does not have the conditions for central computer room deployment. The advantage is that deployment is simple and does not occupy campus network bandwidth during use. Centralized deployment refers to the use of the UIS-CLASS G3 cluster to deploy Cloud Classroom in the central computer room.
When deployed centrally, backend computing, storage, and network resources are all fully connected, supporting elastic expansion, and can flexibly divide virtual classrooms of different sizes according to users' actual scene needs, breaking the boundaries of physical classrooms and providing maximum flexibility. Through computational virtualization, cloud desktops can be evenly distributed across all cloud hosts in the cluster. Before reaching maximum concurrent usage, the computing resources that each cloud desktop can schedule will increase exponentially, providing more powerful performance. By implementing storage virtualization and providing a multi copy backup mechanism for data, data will not be lost in the event of a cloud host or hard drive failure, effectively ensuring data security.

Yunxuetang provides a unified management platform that can centrally manage the computing, storage, and network resources of devices on the network. It can achieve health monitoring of Yunxuetang systems and resources, as well as management and maintenance of functional modules such as course templates, virtual classrooms, cloud applications, cloud hosts, account systems, and storage systems. When deployed centrally, the advantage of unified management is more obvious, and the operation and maintenance management of dozens of classrooms can be completed in one stop.
The operating system used for teaching is provided in the form of course templates (virtual machine images). The course template adopts multi-level mirroring technology. For example, for course templates created based on Windows 7, only one copy of the underlying Windows 7 system data (basic template) will be saved, and different course templates only need to save the modified data relative to the basic template. Based on this feature, teachers only need to install software on the basic template when creating course templates, without the need to install an operating system. Moreover, the utilization of storage resources is greatly improved, making it possible to store hundreds of course templates in limited space. At the same time, course templates can be tailored to specific courses, effectively solving various compatibility issues between operating systems and application software, and avoiding lag caused by overly bloated operating systems.
The cloud desktop used by students is based on course templates and created in real-time using virtual machine link cloning technology. This not only ensures the standardization and consistency of teaching and examination environments, but also protects the operating system from malfunctions and viruses. When software updates are needed, only operational modifications need to be made on the course template, and all cloud desktops used by students will be synchronously modified, with a workload that is one tenth of traditional methods.

Yunxuetang has been deeply optimized for teaching scenarios and teachers' usage habits. The UI interaction is user-friendly and easy to use, and most functions can be completed with just one click on the main interface. At the same time, it also provides rich teaching management and interactive functions, such as screen broadcasting, video broadcasting, black screen silence, student demonstration, screen monitoring, file distribution, group teaching, terminal management, electronic sign in and other functions commonly used in the teaching process, which are readily available. In addition, with the increasing complexity of teaching content, high-definition video materials have become more and more common. Yunxuetang has exclusively launched a video broadcasting function for this purpose, which can support broadcasting high-definition high stream high frame rate videos with a maximum resolution of 4K to students. During the broadcasting process, the images and sounds of the teacher and student machines are strictly synchronized, and the picture is extremely smooth without any lag.
At the cloud host level, through centralized deployment in cluster mode, in the event of a cloud host crash or network outage, the hosted cloud desktop will automatically migrate to a healthy cloud host, and data stored on personal disks will not be lost. For students, what they can perceive is that the cloud desktop automatically restarts, and the entire process can be completed within 3 minutes (time can be set through policy settings). Moreover, even if all cloud servers are disconnected, as long as the internal network of the classroom is normal, teaching functions such as screen broadcasting and video broadcasting can still be performed, ensuring uninterrupted classes to the greatest extent possible. At the cloud terminal level, when the network is disconnected, it supports switching to a local backup system to continue document editing and other operations; If there is a hardware failure in the terminal, it can be replaced directly within 1 minute.
Cloud Academy is built on H3C's independently developed CAS virtualization platform at the bottom. CAS has been on the rise since 2009 and is now the number one virtualization brand in China, widely used in various industries such as government, enterprise, finance, healthcare, energy, and education. Due to the need to adapt to diversified business in various industries, CAS has excellent compatibility, and Yunxuetang also inherits this compatibility. At present, Yunxuetang can support over 30 different versions of Windows and Linux; More than 260 application software have undergone adaptation testing. In addition, as the main carrier environment for computer-based exams, Yunxuetang has been integrated and adapted with numerous exam systems, such as common voice exams, computer proficiency exams, accounting proficiency exams, information technology exams, etc., all of which are perfectly compatible.

Based on the advantages of link cloning, storage acceleration, and cluster mode, the speed of cloud desktop startup and application opening used by students is extremely fast. Through the one click remote boot function, it only takes 35 seconds to open hundreds of cloud desktops simultaneously, 50 seconds to switch course templates, and less than 3 seconds to open commonly used teaching applications.
Based on the high-performance CAS virtualization platform and H3C's independently developed VDP desktop connection protocol, both operating software and watching high-definition videos can provide the ultimate smooth experience.

Yunxuetang provides online monitoring center services, which can be deployed on private clouds of education bureaus or schools. The online monitoring center can monitor the real-time usage of all cloud school classrooms under its jurisdiction, including classroom distribution, seat distribution, fault information, statistical reports, etc. It also supports health inspection, which can quickly predict or locate faults. The online monitoring center is not constrained by deployment methods, and as long as the network is reachable, monitoring and management can be carried out even if they are not in the same local area network. The global overview view is very convenient for school leaders to grasp the real-time operation of the school's information system, and the achievements of the school's information construction are also more clear at a glance.
Yunxuetang uses cloud terminals the size of TV set-top boxes instead of traditional PC host boxes, which not only saves huge space, but also greatly reduces energy consumption and heat dissipation. Taking a 60 seat classroom as an example, the total energy consumption of the Cloud Classroom system is approximately 1400W, while the total energy consumption of a traditional PC is approximately 15000W, which is only one tenth of that of a traditional PC. The reduction in energy consumption results in lower heat dissipation and lower cooling costs. Moreover, all cloud terminals adopt fanless design, which results in no noise pollution and truly achieves energy conservation and environmental protection.
H3C UIS-CLASS Cloud School all-in-one machine is a hyper converged product launched for cloud school solutions, with three major characteristics of easy delivery, easy scalability, and easy operation and maintenance.
