New handheld residual chlorine colorimeter Portable residual chlorine colorimeter Model: HAD-XB-3
The HAD-XB-3 residual chlorine colorimeter (colorimetric box) is suitable for detecting residual chlorine concentration in large, medium, and small water plants, industrial and mining enterprises, domestic or industrial water. The measurement is simple and fast, especially suitable for on-site measurement without power supply.
Principle of residual chlorine colorimeter (colorimetric box):
This instrument uses ortho toluidine (or tetramethylbenzidine) reagent and applies visual colorimetric method. When measuring, when the tested water sample is poured into the reagent, the water sample will turn yellow. Then place the water sample into a colorimetric stand, rotate the colorimetric disc, and visually compare the depth of yellow to obtain the concentration of residual chlorine.
Measurement range: 0-2.5mg/L
Characteristics of residual chlorine colorimeter (colorimetric box)
1. Gradient color comparison disc.
2. Translucent color ratio.
Operation Guide for Residual Chlorine Colorimeter (Colorimeter Box)
Open the top covers of two colorimetric tubes and pour the tested water sample into one-third of the tube. Drop 3-5 drops of reagent into one of the colorimetric tubes, cover the cover, invert and shake well, and place it in the right colorimetric seat. Cover the other colorimetric tube and place it in the left colorimetric seat. Hold the colorimeter facing the bright spot, observe the viewing hole with your eyes, and rotate the colorimetric dial until the colors of the left and right colorimetric tubes are similar. At this point, the value shown on the scale on the left side of the viewing hole is the value of residual chlorine.
