This testing system can complete the mass measurement of a squirrel cage rotor within five seconds (the actual measurement time is less than one second). At the end of the measurement, the computer will automatically display the measurement results and determine whether they are qualified. For unqualified products, it will show whether the aluminum strip is broken, whether there are pores or impurities in the aluminum strip, or whether the groove angle is poor. This system can perform both automatic and manual measurements. Automatic measurement is used for normal production line testing, while manual measurement is mainly used for adjusting fixture positions, determining system faults, and collecting and setting system parameters.

At present, there are two main methods for rapid and large-scale quality analysis of cast aluminum rotors: resistance measurement method and inductance measurement method. The first resistance measurement method is used to calculate the rotor resistance value, while the second inductance measurement method does not require the use of a stator during measurement. Therefore, the inductance measurement method can detect small faults in the rotor. Whenever a rotor aluminum strip passes through the magnetic field, a sine waveform is generated, and the rotor completes a complete measurement after rotating once. The inductance measurement method can easily measure the fracture of the rotor aluminum strip, the presence of air or air holes in the rotor aluminum strip, and the angle error of the inclined groove
