Background and Challenges
In recent years, with the rapid development of the social economy, many financial institutions have begun to build new office buildings. At the same time, video surveillance technology has developed rapidly, and high-definition monitoring technology has become very mature. However, it has been limited by network bandwidth conditions, which has prevented high-definition monitoring from being widely used in the financial industry. As a localized monitoring unit, the office building does not have the problem of long-distance transmission, and the network bandwidth is sufficient, making high-definition monitoring applicable in practice.
In addition, in the office building, in addition to the video surveillance system, there are multiple security subsystems such as intrusion alarm system, entrance and exit vehicle management system, access control system, voice intercom system, fire warning system, etc. In the past, most of these subsystems were in a state of independent operation. Once an emergency occurs, it is impossible to link the various subsystems, resulting in delayed event handling and seriously affecting security efficiency.

The comprehensive security monitoring system for office buildings is generally divided into video surveillance system, intrusion alarm system, entrance and exit vehicle management system, access control system, fire warning system, etc. The overall system architecture is shown in the following figure:

Video surveillance system: The entire line adopts high-definition network cameras, and high-definition face capture machines can also be used at important entrances and exits as needed to achieve intelligent facial recognition, capture, storage, comparison, retrieval and other functions; The backend adopts CVR direct storage mode in the monitoring center to centrally store all videos in the building.
Intrusion alarm system: Adopting Hikvision's new network alarm host, it can simultaneously support three transmission modes: telephone line, network cable, and GPRS. Compared with previous telephone line alarm hosts, it has the characteristics of less delay, multi center upload, and simple wiring; At various important alarm deployment points in the building, infrared dual sensors, vibration probes, glass breakage probes, etc. are used to implement comprehensive defense for the entire office building, and the system is connected through the network alarm host;
Entrance and exit vehicle management system: Install entrance and exit control systems at various vehicle entrances and exits in the building, use license plate capture machines to capture the license plates of vehicles entering and exiting, and compare them with the whitelist in the system to achieve automatic opening and release of internal vehicles, and manual inspection of external vehicles; In addition, the parking lot of the building can achieve functions such as vehicle guidance, display of available parking spaces, and reverse car search.
Access control system: Utilizing access control products and systems, it realizes access control for various floors, management of internal personnel card permissions, elevator floor permissions control, etc., and is linked with the video surveillance system. When important entrances and exits are accessed by people, it can be linked with the video surveillance system to display the current status of the entrances and exits for supervision and review.
Voice intercom system: Install a voice intercom system at important entrance and exit locations. After verification through the access control system using card swiping/fingerprint scanning/password input, the monitoring center still needs to conduct remote voice and video verification to ensure that the personnel entering and exiting the entrance and exit swipe their cards/fingerprints for themselves.

Alarm video linkage: When an alarm is triggered, it can immediately link with the video surveillance system to achieve alarm video review;

Important access control: Adopting a mechanism of access control system verification, voice/video review, and central authorization to open doors to ensure compliance of personnel entering and exiting;
Fire warning linkage: In the event of a fire alarm in the building, video review can be linked, and the access control of the escape exit can be opened and the alarm can be automatically sounded.
