The new generation of ppb dissolved oxygen sensor from Frog Vision is based on the principle of fluorescence quenching. Blue light is irradiated onto the fluorescent oxygen molecule probe to excite red light. As the oxygen molecule is the quenching agent of the fluorescent probe, it can take away energy. Therefore, the time and intensity of the excited red light are inversely proportional to the concentration of the oxygen molecule. The dissolved oxygen sensor calculates the concentration of oxygen molecules by measuring the phase difference between the excited red light and the reference light, and combining it with a temperature compensated 3D calibration data model. Optical ppb dissolved oxygen sensor

The new generation of ppb dissolved oxygen sensor from Frog Vision is based on the principle of fluorescence quenching. Blue light is irradiated onto the fluorescent oxygen molecule probe to excite red light. As the oxygen molecule is the quenching agent of the fluorescent probe, it can take away energy.
