The GRM240 series products support these 3 functions

Serial communication protocol supports:GRM242 and GRM243 support Siemens S7200 Smart PLC network port protocol, RS485 communication port supports Siemens S7-200 PPI protocol, Mitsubishi FX PLC protocol, supports all FX series models, Omron HOSTLINK protocol, etc., and can be connected to various manufacturers and models of PLCs through RS485 communication port. Both the network port and RS485 communication port support MODBUS host protocol, which can connect to any domestic PLC and instrument that supports Modbus protocol. They also support MODBUS slave protocol and can connect to touch screens such as Weilun and Siemens.

Network port communication protocol supports:MODBUS-TCP (Server and Client) S7-200 SMART。

Attention: If you need to communicate with Siemens S7-300/400, S7-1200, S7-1500 PLC, AB PLC, Mitsubishi Q series PLC through network port, the model number needs to be GRM244.

Support MQTT data transmission: The GRM module can directly perform MQTT data transmission externally; MQTT data transmission can also be performed externally through the macro control server.

All models do not support remote download and debugging of PLC. If remote download and debugging of PLC is required, GRM550 series models need to be selected:

1. The module comes with 12 IO channels, which are grouped into four channels and not configured separately for each channel.

2. If output is required, 4-channel relays or 2-channel current and voltage outputs can be selected.

3. Two PT100 temperature measurement inputs can be provided, but the module's output is not available at this time. The other eight inputs are still available.

GRM240 Description:

1. The network port supports both device and cloud connection simultaneously (the option to allow cloud connection is configured in the project options)

2. All models come with MQTT push notifications, WeChat alerts, and historical data with the same specifications as the GRM560 series (WeChat alerts and historical records are optional).

3. All come with Modbus TCP Server and OPC UA Server, allowing other OPC UA clients to access our data.

4. All have LAN Web API interfaces.

5. GRM241 cannot connect to any device, GRM242 and GRM243 support connecting to all serial devices, and network devices support Modbus TCP and Siemens 200 PLC

6. Added GRM244 model, with network port supporting all PLC models

7. The GRM240 series has two types of motherboards, one with a relay and one without a relay. The motherboard with relays and GRM230 starting with 26 have the same available IO types.

8. The 240 motherboard with DA and no relay is a newly designed one that uses 24 bit high-precision AD. Now, all three sets of ABQ inputs can be used as PT100.

9. Added support for two wire PT100 mode, with each set of inputs capable of connecting 4 two wire PT100 or 2 three wire PT100, and a maximum of 12 two wire PT100 or 6 three wire PT100 as a whole.

10. The new generation of DA still only has two channels, but the accuracy has significantly improved, with a nominal accuracy of 0.1%, which is the same as the accuracy of AD input. Actually, it can usually achieve an accuracy of 0.05%.

11. The new AD has greatly improved the drift of NTC probes in long and low-temperature situations, so it is recommended to choose models without relays as much as possible when using NTC.

Rated values of various error parameters for the analog quantity of the new 240:

PT100: 0.1+(0.0005 * |t|) ℃ ,

As a comparison, the rated error of the national standard A-level PT100 probe is 0.15+(0.002 * | t |) ℃

DA output current/voltage: 0.25 ‰ * range+0.25 ‰ * reading, nominal 0.5 ‰

NTC temperature measurement: The error from -40 degrees to positive 60 degrees is less than 0.5 degrees, and the error from positive 100 degrees is less than 1 degree. This error includes the sum of the measurement circuit error and the error of our standard probe.

Detailed description of the main functions of the product:

1. Monitor PLC with web browser or APP on mobile phone

1) Simply configure the webpage style in the module configuration software, with a touch screen like configuration screen, and download it to the module.
2) Mobile phones and computers can access the internet, and PLC remote monitoring can be achieved through web pages or apps. Anyone who can access the internet can view and modify PLC data through web pages.
3) Providing a standard WEBAPI access interface, anyone familiar with web page creation and APP can easily obtain data from the server to create their own PLC web monitoring interface and APP. For web page and APP creators, there is no need to understand any PLC communication details.



2. Mobile SMS alarm
1) As long as the conditions for PLC to send SMS are configured in the module configuration software, the recipient of the content can be downloaded to the module. PLC does not require any programming.
2) Can achieve PLC SMS alarm andSMS control.
3) The SMS recipient's mobile phone number, SMS alarm content, and alarm conditions can be modified remotely at any time.



3Monitor PLC with configuration software on the computer end

1) Engineers only need to log in to the module number and password of GRM500 on a computer with internet access, and use configuration software for remote monitoring. Due to the use of OPC interface, it can support various configuration software such as Kingview, Force Control, WINCC, etc. Compared to transparent transmission mode, this type of communication method greatly improves speed and saves at least 50% of traffic.
