Plasma emission chromatograph

The LX-3200PED plasma emission chromatograph is equipped with an ultra high sensitivity plasma emission detector. When a gas sample passes through a quartz tube, it is ionized by a high-voltage generator, generating a light signal. The filter selectively filters out the light signal based on wavelength and converts it into an electrical signal through a photodiode. The signal is amplified by a signal voltage generator to the required level for analysis, meeting the detection range from PPT to percentage.

• Working principle of plasma emission detector (PED)
• The plasma emission detector is a highly sensitive universal detector with a uniquely designed quartz chamber loaded with high-frequency and high-voltage electric fields inside. When a gas sample passes through a quartz chamber, it is ionized by a high-voltage generator, producing a fluorescence phenomenon called electroluminescence and emitting characteristic spectral lines. The emission spectral lines change with different substances in the carrier gas, and this light emission technique is used for quantitative analysis of the sample.
