Product Details

Plug in electromagnetic flowmeter is mainly used for the installation of large pipelines, such as DN900 (MM) caliber and above. This facilitates installation and saves costs.

1Plug in electromagnetic flowmeterProduct Principle
Platinum Rui LDE plug-in electromagnetic flowmeter is used in various departments such as industry, agriculture, water conservancy, environmental sewage monitoring, urban water supply, etc. to measure the flow rate and total amount of various conductive liquids. Compared to pipeline flow meters, the measurement of plug-in electromagnetic flow meters is not affected by changes in fluid density, temperature, pressure, and conductivity. The excitation technology used has low power consumption, stable zero point, strong anti-interference ability, and good reliability. No additional pressure loss, requiring a small length of straight pipe section and relatively simple installation. The measurement range is wide, and the full-scale flow rate can be continuously set arbitrarily within 1.0m/s to 10.0m/s. The output signal is linearly related to the flow rate (flow velocity) as shown in Figure 1.

7Installation requirements for plug-in electromagnetic flowmeter
1. It should be installed at the lower and vertically upward positions of the horizontal pipeline, avoiding installation at the highest point and vertically downward position of the pipeline;
2. Should be installed at the rising point on the pipeline;
3. When installing an open discharge pipeline, it should be installed at the lower part of the pipeline;
4. If the pipeline drop exceeds 5m, install an exhaust valve downstream of the sensor;
5. Control valves and shut-off valves should be installed downstream of the sensor, rather than upstream of the sensor;
6. Sensors should never be installed at the inlet and outlet of the pump, they should be installed at the outlet of the pump.
