4、 Product composition
The plug-in gas mass flowmeter consists of an integrated flow converter and a flow sensor.According to the type of flow sensor, it can be divided into plug-in and pipe section thermal gas mass flow meters.
Pipe section thermal gas mass flowmeter: It is equipped with a process pipeline with the same inner diameter as the on-site pipeline at the factory. The connection method with the on-site pipeline is flange connection or threaded connection, and the flange standard complies with the national standard GB/T9119-2000.
The pipe segment sensor is suitable for pipeline diameters ranging from DN15 to 2000mm. The sensor material is stainless steel, and the pipeline material is carbon steel or stainless steel. Special materials should be specified when ordering. (as shown in the table below)

5、 Main functions of plug-in gas mass flowmeter
1. Measurement function
It can directly measure the instantaneous mass flow rate, cumulative mass total, volumetric flow rate, volumetric total, temperature, density, and concentration of two-component liquids of liquid media. Can display, output, store, and remotely transmit; Modify the parameters of the flowmeter.
2. Current output
This product has a current signal output function, with a current output of 4mA to 20mA, which can meet the needs of industrial instrument control.
3. Frequency output
This product has a frequency signal output function, with a frequency output of 0KHz to 10KHz, which can meet the needs of industrial instrument control.
4. Batch control
Batch control relay contact capacity: 24V/0.1A, contact form is normally open (indicated by the user when ordering, can be changed to normally closed), this function can meet the flow batch control of industrial equipment.
5. Communication function
This product has data communication function and can complete data communication with a computer through RS-485 communication, enabling network control of the computer.

6、 Installation requirements for plug-in gas mass flow meters
① Whether installed vertically or horizontally, the flowmeter should be kept in a horizontal position.
② In situations where unexpected gas shutdown is not allowed or will inevitably cause significant non replaceable losses, a bypass must be installed.
③ There should be at least a 10D straight pipe section in front of the flowmeter, and at least a 5D (D is the pipe diameter) straight pipe section behind it.
④ If the instrument is installed outdoors, a sunshade should be added to prevent exposure to sunlight and rain.
⑤ It should be confirmed that there are no strong magnetic fields, strong electric fields, or strong mechanical vibrations near the flowmeter.
⑥ The static grounding of the flowmeter should be reliable, but it cannot be shared with strong electrical grounding.
⑦ The surrounding environment should be confirmed to have no corrosive effect on aluminum alloy.
⑧ Ensure that the direction of gas flow is consistent with the direction of the arrow on the flowmeter.
⑨ Welding operations are prohibited in explosive environments.
⑩ The environment with special requirements for welding should be operated according to relevant requirements.
