1、 Introduction to the production of stainless steel smoke exhaust ducts
Stainless steel smoke exhaust ducts are commonly used for supplying cold and hot air in central air conditioning ducts, which require insulation materials. Insulation materials can also be applied internally to give the air duct a beautiful spiral appearance, eliminating the need for a suspended ceiling and reducing project costs. Provide fresh air and exhaust, discharge harmful gases outdoors, and bring fresh outdoor air indoors. Generally speaking, the flow rate of ventilation systems is high, so it is required to use air ducts with low resistance to save costs and operating expenses.
2、 Advantages of stainless steel smoke exhaust duct
1. It is of great significance in industrial ventilation applications. Ventilation in industrial and commercial environments is necessary to protect workers and equipment from pollution from chemicals, welding fumes, solvent vapors, oil mist, dust, and other air pollutants.
2. Exhaust pipes can effectively carry out local exhaust ventilation and remove unnecessary airborne substances from the environment.
3. We can provide many hose products to meet the needs of ventilation for dust, air, and chemical smoke applications.
4. For heavy industrial applications that require ventilation for hot air, chemicals, and smoke, we recommend using stainless steel pipes. The high temperature range of stainless steel duct products is from 800 ° F to 1650 ° F.
3、 Measures to reduce resistance of stainless steel smoke exhaust ducts
1. The materials used should have low thermal conductivity, insulation, corrosion resistance, fire resistance and other properties.
2. When designing, it is not advisable to be too long. If possible, the pipe diameter should be thick, and a circular shape is preferred.
3. The radius of the branch pipe shall not be less than 1/2-1/3 of the radius of the main pipe, to facilitate the processing of stainless steel air ducts.
4. When designing, the bending angle should be as curved as possible.
5. When designing, try to minimize the number of bends and increase the distance between two bends. When the distance between two bends is 3B of the pipe diameter, the resistance increases by approximately 80%. If it is 5B, the resistance increases by 30%.
6. Try to place it upright or tilted as much as possible, set up a cleaning port, ensure that the connecting parts are tight and not exposed to air, and facilitate maintenance.
4、 Installation requirements for stainless steel smoke exhaust ducts
1. When the diameter or length of the air duct horizontal device is less than 400mm, the distance should not be greater than 4m. When it is greater than or equal to 400mm, the distance should not be less than 3m.
2. The straight installation of the air duct should be no more than 4m away, but each riser should have no less than 2 fixing components.
3. The joints of rectangular air ducts in mechanical smoke control systems should be sealed using a biting method, and the joints must be consistently sealed.
4. The allowable air leakage per unit area of the air supply and exhaust ducts should comply with the rules in the "Construction Quality Inspection Standard for Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineering" GB50243. The allowable air leakage rate of the air supply duct should be determined based on the working pressure; The smoke exhaust pipes are all in accordance with the rules of the medium pressure system.
5. The connection between the pipeline and the fan should use flange connection or flexible connection without burning materials.
6. When a pipeline passes through a partition wall, the gap between the pipeline and the partition wall should be tightly filled with non combustible materials such as cement mortar.
7. The insulation layer of the smoke exhaust duct should be insulated with non combustible insulation material with a thickness of not less than 40mm.
5、 Maintenance of stainless steel smoke exhaust duct
1. To keep the surface of the stainless steel plate smooth and clean, place it on a spacious and dry moisture-proof wooden cushion frame, and stack it neatly.
2. Stainless steel and aluminum plates should be placed against wooden frames and not stacked flat to avoid scratching the surface during dragging. When cutting, a scratch free marking tool should be used.
3. Wooden hammers or hammers with rubber sleeves should be used during operation, and iron hammers should not be used to avoid rust spots at the drop point.
4. The materials used for flanges should be classified and coded, and rain and snow protection measures should be taken to prevent exposure to the outdoors. Reduce rusting phenomenon. Ventilation ducts should be stacked in a flat and spacious area without standing water. When stacking, they should be numbered according to the system, neat, reasonable, and easy to transport.
5. The handling and loading of air ducts should be handled with care to prevent damage to the finished product.
6. Another thing worth noting is that the paint film should be evenly coated during painting, without any defects such as accumulation, omission, wrinkles, bubbles, or color mixing.
7. Ordinary steel plates must be sprayed with a layer of anti rust paint before crimping to ensure that the seams are not easily rusted. Thin steel plate anti-corrosion paint, executed according to the design.
8. After the inspection of the finished air duct processing products, the connection numbers and project names should be written in the order of the main and branch pipe systems, and stacked and coded reasonably. Waiting for transportation out of the factory.
