1、 Introduction to Customized Stainless Steel Spiral Ducts
Spiral ducts in the market are generally divided into three categories based on material: galvanized spiral ducts, stainless steel spiral ducts, and composite spiral ducts. Among them, stainless steel air ducts have excellent quality and strong applicability, but are expensive. Our manufacturer can customize products according to different customer needs. Welcome to inquire by phone.
2、 Advantages of Stainless Steel Spiral Ducts
1. The installation of spiral ducts significantly reduces the connection points between pipes, reducing leakage at the joint of pipe fittings to an extremely low level.
2. A typical spiral duct length is 3-6m, while a typical rectangular duct length is only 1-1.5m.
3. And connecting two spiral ducts only requires one pipe connector, while traditional rectangular duct connections often require a completely independent double flange system.
3、 Application of stainless steel spiral air duct
1. Air supply: including ventilation, such as fresh air supply and exhaust, this range is very wide, such as the air in factory workshops and production sites. Due to the generation of harmful gases, they need to be discharged outdoors, and outdoor air needs to be transported indoors. At this point, it is necessary to use air ducts with high flow rates and low pressure, and spiral ducts are more suitable. Generally, galvanized iron pipes are used, while stainless steel pipes are used in corrosive and particularly humid places.
2. Cold air supply: The most common type is the air conditioning ducts, which require insulation materials. Spiral ducts can be coated with insulation materials inside, which looks beautiful on the outside.
3. Oil fume exhaust: The kitchens of hotels, restaurants, and guesthouses all produce a large amount of oil fume, which needs to be discharged. The use of circular air ducts is called oil fume chimneys. Here, spiral ducts should be called oil fume ducts.
4. Dust removal: Some factories have a lot of dust in their production workshops and require specialized dust removal devices, such as spiral ducts.
5. Bulk material transportation: In the production process of some factories, loose particles need to be transported, especially those with low specific gravity such as foam plastic particles. The use of spiral ducts is cost-effective and effective.
4、 Working conditions for stainless steel spiral ducts
1. Centralized processing should have spacious, bright, clean, flat, and non humid factory buildings.
2. On site dispersed processing should have facilities that can prevent rain, snow, strong winds, and have stable structures.
3. The work site should have basic machinery, facilities, power supply and safety protection devices for corresponding processing technology, and be equipped with fire-fighting equipment.
4. The production of stainless steel spiral ducts should have approved drawings, reviewed detailed drawings, system diagrams, and technical quality and safety briefings from construction personnel.
5、 Customized construction method for stainless steel spiral air duct
1. Draw and unfold lines according to the different geometric shapes and specifications of the drawings and sample air ducts.
2. The cutting of sheet metal must be reviewed to avoid errors. Mechanical scissors and manual scissors should be used to cut according to the marked shape.
3. When cutting, it is strictly prohibited to insert hands into the gaps of the mechanical pressure plate. Tools and other items are not allowed to be placed on the upper knife holder. When adjusting the sheet metal, the foot cannot be placed on the pedal. When using a fixed vibration shear, both hands should hold the steel plate firmly, and the distance between the hand and the blade should not be less than 5cm. The force should be evenly and appropriately applied.
4. After cutting the sheet, it is necessary to use a chamfering machine or scissors for chamfering before rolling.
5. The width and allowance of the bite should be determined according to the thickness of the board and should comply with the required construction and welding methods.
6. When connecting with rivets, it is necessary to make the midpoint line of the rivet perpendicular to the plate surface. The rivet head should press the plate tightly, so that the plate seam is tight and the rivets are arranged neatly and evenly. Riveting between plates generally does not require padding in the middle. If there are design requirements, they should be followed.
7. Choose the bite form according to the usage range for bite connection.
8. When biting, the distance between the fingers and the roller cover should not be less than 5cm, and the handle should not be placed on the biting machine track.
9. After biting, place the drawn folding line on the folding machine and place it at the midpoint of the lower mold. During operation, align the midpoint line of the upper blade of the machine with the midpoint line of the lower mold and fold them at the desired angle.
10. When folding, they should cooperate with each other and maintain a specific distance from the folding machine to avoid being damaged by the overturned steel plate or counterweight.
11. When making a circular air duct, shape the two ends of the bite into a circular arc and place it on the rolling machine to form a circle. Adjust the spacing between the upper and lower rollers according to the specifications of the air duct diameter. During operation, do not push the steel plate directly by hand.
12. The steel plates that have been folded or rolled into circles are sewn together using a joint machine or manually. When operating, apply even force and avoid being too heavy. Single and double bite are indeed biting, without swelling or half biting phenomenon.
