Equipment Introduction/Purpose
The low content of ozone in the atmosphere is the main factor causing rubber cracking. The ozone aging chamber simulates and strengthens the ozone conditions in the atmosphere, studies the effect of ozone on rubber, and quickly identifies and evaluates the anti ozone aging performance of rubber and the protective effectiveness of anti ozone agents. Effective anti-aging measures are then taken to improve the service life of rubber products.
working principle:The equipment is composed of ozone gas generated by a silent and efficient ozone generator, mixed with a certain amount of processed air in an exchanger, and sent to the test chamber. The ultraviolet detector continuously detects the ozone concentration online and feeds it back to the ozone generator control system, so that the control system can effectively control the generation of ozone according to the set value, thereby maintaining the appropriate ozone concentration in the test chamber. The heating and humidification system works to meet all test conditions.
Main functions:This machine is used to test the cracking resistance of rubber products in an ozone environment. The ozone resistance testing machine can control and adjust the concentration of ozone environment to determine the ozone resistance of specimens
scope of application
This series of test chambers generates high concentrations of ozone using an ozone generator and can be used for aging tests of non-metallic materials and organic materials (coatings, rubber, plastics, paints, pigments, etc.) under ozone conditions.
Testing process
Under the specified elongation requirement, the two ends of the specimen are fixed on a rotating aluminum fixture, and when in contact with ozone air, the length direction of the specimen is basically parallel to the direction of the airflow. The adjustable stroke range of the sample is before 0-40mm. The sample rotates at a speed of (20-25) mm/s, so that the sample moves continuously along the same path in a plane perpendicular to the airflow. The time for the same sample to rotate once is (8-12) minutes. The scanning area of the sample is approximately 40% of the effective area of the test chamber.
