1、 Introduction to Stainless Steel Welded Ducts
Stainless steel welded air ducts play an important role in ventilation and air conversion, especially in ventilation equipment, effectively connecting various parts of the ventilation equipment together, making the ventilation equipment operate more smoothly.
2、 Characteristics of stainless steel welded air ducts
1. Beautiful appearance, smooth inner wall, low resistance, good air tightness, high pressure strength, suitable for very complex exhaust engineering.
2. Can exclude chemical corrosive gases.
3. Made of stainless steel, the material is sturdy and easy to maintain integrity.
4. Stainless steel air ducts have high resistance to chemical acidity and alkalinity, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, and high temperature resistance. They are suitable for temperatures between -150 ℉ and 300 ℉ (-60 ℃ and 150 ℃).
5. Designed with computer-aided design, easy to install.
6. Its cost is higher than galvanized air ducts, but it has a wider range of applications.
3、 Advantages of stainless steel welded air ducts
1. The installation of simple stainless steel welded air ducts reduces the number of connection points between pipes, thereby reducing leakage at the joint of pipe fittings to a low level. And connecting two products only requires one pipe connector.
2. Standardized products: Accessories for stainless steel welded air ducts, including fittings and joints, have been automated and systematized in production, with industrialized quality control.
3. Low installation cost: The installation time of the product is relatively short.
4、 Scope of application for stainless steel welded air ducts
1. Main uses: air supply, including fresh air, air conditioning cold/hot air, oil fume exhaust, and environmental dust removal.
2. Applicable industries: cleanrooms, semiconductor industry, printed circuit board industry, petrochemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, pulp and paper industry, food processing industry, laboratories containing flammable, volatile, and corrosive chemicals, any industry or facility related to the transportation and output of corrosive and flammable exhaust pipes.
5、 Rust removal method for stainless steel welded air ducts
1. Firstly, remove all visible dirt on the surface, and then use solvents or cleaning agents to remove oil.
2. Use a tungsten steel shovel to remove large areas of rust.
3. Use a scraper and wire brush to remove rust from the corners.
4. Use a file to remove protrusions such as welding slag and various burrs.
5. Clean with sandpaper and wire brush.
6. Use a clean cloth or a cloth dipped in solvent to clean and apply primer in a timely manner.
7. Note that for tough coatings that have not yet expired, they can be retained and the surface of the old paint can be roughened with sandpaper. The damaged areas of the coating can be polished into an axe shape, cleaned, and directly painted.
