Working principle and purpose

The original state of microbial samples may be in the form of blocks, paste, powder, etc., all of which need to be refined into liquid samples in order to facilitate microbial analysis and inoculation. The working principle of this instrument is to cut the original sample (large ones need to be cut into blocks of about 10 × 10mm) into a homogeneous bag with a certain liquid or solvent, and repeatedly hammer the sample on the homogeneous bag with the hammer plate of this instrument, generating pressure, causing oscillation, accelerating mixing, and thus achieving a uniform distribution of microbial components in the solution. This instrument is suitable for homogeneous processing of tissues and microorganisms such as brain, kidney, liver, spleen, etc. It is widely used in the fields of food, medicine, clinical, molecular, toxin, and bacterial detection.
A homogenizer bag made of special materials for storing the original sample material and solvent, which has been sterilized (opened homogenizer bags should be disinfected again by the user to ensure sterility). The bag is clamped and sealed by the horizontal bar on the upper edge of the homogenizer door to avoid the overflow of solution during the hammering of the hammer plate. The hammer plate of the homogenizer keeps hammering on the homogenizer bag, and the pressure generated can crush and mix the samples in the bag. The homogenization speed can be programmed, with 3 to 12 times per second for each section, and the homogenization time can be set from 1 second to 100 minutes per section or run continuously. Users can make reasonable choices based on the sample and solvent conditions to achieve the best homogenization effect. For example, the liver of mice and rats should be timed for 3 minutes at a moderate rate of 6-10 times per second.
