1、 Overview
A three pin pressure gauge is a commonly used measuring instrument, consisting of a bottom, dial, and hands. The dial usually consists of one long pointer and two short pointers, each representing a different meaning. Three pin pressure gauges are commonly used to measure the pressure values of various gases and liquids, and display the measured values on the dial. The following provides a detailed explanation of the meaning of the three needle pressure gauge pointer.
2、 The meaning of pointers
1. Long pointer
The long pointer is usually located in the center of the dial, and its function is to indicate the current pressure value. When the pressure changes, the long pointer will move accordingly. If the pressure value exceeds the range of the dial, the long pointer will move to the edge of the dial and coincide with the short pointer. During normal use, the pressure value should be kept within the range of the dial to avoid damage to the pressure gauge.
2. Short pointer
There are usually two short pointers, one representing the minimum pressure value and the other representing the maximum pressure value. When the pressure value is lower than the minimum value or higher than the maximum value, the short pointer will automatically return to its original position and remain in the corresponding position, so that the user can promptly detect and handle the problem. During normal use, it is advisable to avoid pressure values below the minimum or above the maximum to prevent damage to the equipment.
3、 Precautions for use
When using a three pin pressure gauge, one should carefully read the user manual and follow the instructions to avoid damaging the pressure gauge.
When measuring pressure values, one should avoid exceeding the range of the dial to prevent the long pointer from moving to the edge of the dial and overlapping with the short pointer.
When using a pressure gauge, it is advisable to avoid pressure values below the minimum or above the maximum to prevent damage to the equipment.
4. When maintaining and repairing pressure gauges, professional technicians should handle them to avoid damage to the equipment or personal danger.
